You can use them on thin metal frames, I believe. We have quite a good relationship with them. always carry extra onboard for guests, and we've never had an issue fitting them onboard.
I would recommend swimming in the FLOATING HALF PIPE, UNIVERSAL FIT GALSSFLOAT and THE FLOATING NEO because they fit well but will not be the best. I appreciate your kind words.
Yes, I got them for my nephew because he loses his glasses all the time, he won't lose them ever again

It was stated in the product advertisement that it will float 45 grams or one gram. It says the item weights 5 ounces, yet when you receive it, you find that it only weighs It has a net weight of 35 grams or 2 ounces. I weighed 42 grams when I bought my wife's sunglasses. I want to see someone get on top of their game and accurately report capacities!.
Rx Rudy Project Rydon glasses were purchased for use when sculling and rowing. Due to the fact that boats flip occasionally, I needed to protect my investment by installing a floating solution. It is not similar to what other reviewers have encountered in that the Chums (for now) snugly fit the super skinny arms of these A part of the tube extends far up your arms, but there is a gap where the tube is empty, making it easy to fit comfortably over My next update will be after I fall into the water when the product ages.
I honestly didn't expect these to work properly with my glasses, so I decided to order the Pilot Fish No-Negatives Pair as well There is no floatation to the tail (looks secure, but is not). It seemed as if something secure would be the best that could be done, and I hoped it would keep them in place should It turns out that the Pilot Fish cannot be used with my Rydons' skinny arms. As I've tried the Pilot Fish on another pair of glasses, perhaps the pieces that grip the glasses have stretched out a little, but they have very little surface area to grab to. On a side note, I suppose the gripping area for both products is the same, but the Pilot Fish installs at the very end of the arms, so the grips don't have as much travel to do before they're completely removed from the glasses. For someone who is planning to immerse themselves in water, the Chums seem to be a far better choice.
Fortunately, I was able to save my prescription sunglasses that I lost the first time I used The Chums Glassfloats. While the straps floated as they were supposed to, they did not hold tightly enough on the sunglasses. The sunglasses slipped off of their arms. In the end, the sunglasses were no longer attached to the float after I pulled it out of the water.
The harness fits my Maui Jims perfectly. I have no doubt that I'll be able to retrieve them if they go overboard. The neon colors are fantastic.
Classic sunglasses float that still These are durable and will last a long time. Allows me to have a set of these on my shades when at the beach or by the In the past 2 years, I went for a canoe float ride. Obviously I forgot to put on my sunglasses, and I back floated into the water. My glasses were instantly ripped off of my head and sank to the ground. I say good bye to my An Oakley sunglass sank to the bottom of the float at the same time for a friend. Having done this, both of them would have been saved.
As these are so thick and stiff as to not drape down the back of your head, but rather to stop stiffly out the back of your head, they tend to pull your glasses frames off as soon as you turn This is a truly useless exercise.
Two of these were purchased to accompany me on a seven-day trip down the river I was able to adjust them easily, to fit both pairs of glasses, and to keep them on my head throughout the rest of the trip. The only problem was they never fell off, so I didn't have the chance to test the floating part. That being said, I wish I'd purchased the regular chums. They're bulky and only make sense on a boat or in the water. You can think of it as a life jacket for your shades.
I tried others, but they were too scratchy and short. That's the only way I would use this one to use my expensive sunglasses, longer and softer.
