This product was purchased primarily to help me recover from recent carpal tunnel therapy. I wanted to be able to begin exercising as soon as possible without injuring myself. This wristband was perfect for the job. Overall, I'd say this is a great recovery aid. The width of the strap could have been narrower for my purposes to better compress the tendons in a specific part of my wrist, but overall, I'd say this is a great recovery aid.

I'm not sure what you mean by "the quality of how?" " BUT, this is exactly what it is... a simple, well-made wrist support. What you see in the photo is what you get. Mine is still in good shape. It's similar to a heavy-duty sweat wristband from the past, but with a lot more support.
A torn or strained tendon could be the source of pain on the pinky side. In either case, you'll need to determine how bad it is and whether or not you need to see an orthopedist. I had a hairline fracture that damaged my hamate bone, and it took a year for it to heal completely. At first, the pain was a ten on a scale of one to ten, and I couldn't imagine playing at all. However, after 8 months off, the pain had decreased to a 2 and I purchased and wore one of these braces during rounds. It was extremely beneficial in terms of providing support and bracing. With the large Velcro strap, you can adjust the tightness. Despite the fact that this brace was not created specifically for your injury, it will assist you in preventing recurrence. If you wear it while doing something physical, it can be dangerous. Mine has seen a lot of action and is still in excellent condition. Even though I am no longer in pain, I continue to use it as a support. It appears to give me more assurance that I won't jam it again.

When I lift something or make even minor movements, it happens. This brace has done a lot to help with that. I also like how light and comfortable it is, and how little it stands out. Furthermore,. You can put it in your bag and it will not take up any space. I strongly advise you to do so.
I have carpal tunnel syndrome and have already undergone one surgery; however, this wristlet prevents me from undergoing another. It's simple to put on and adjusts to your preferences. It's so light that I can't tell it's on, and it doesn't limit my crocheting motion.
For the past 20 years, I've worked in restaurants. So every day entails a lot of stirring, mixing, and sautéing with heavy trays carried by ladles. I've been doing a lot of handwork lately. Then there's a 1. 25-inch elastic band with velcro on the end. 5 times BUT the problem is that if you don't get the base part of the band tight enough, the entire band spins around your wrist when you use the elastic strap to tighten it down. br>br>It was aggravating trying to get the base part of the band tight enough to keep this from happening multiple times. After a lengthy search and a significant amount of money wasted! I've discovered the ideal product for carpal tunnel syndrome, which I've been using since I received it. It has helped to alleviate the discomfort. I bought a total of four. It's great that it has Velcro to wrap around the wrist and an extra wrap around attached, so I got more for my mother and husband. This is important because it is simple to put on yourself. As a result, it is firm while still allowing you to move around. This is an excellent product that I would strongly recommend.
A smaller, firmer one is being made for the thumb and palm by a hand therapist. This one, on the other hand, is more comfortable than the first. br>br>My instructions state that this should be worn during the day and that a thumb splint should be worn at night. However, that could be unique to me because my thumb has developed "trigger thumb," which causes it to lock in the straight position overnight. br>During the day, I must be able to bend the thumb joint and stabilize the area beneath the thumb. This splint provides excellent support when I'm lifting or using my wrists a lot. br>It's comfortable, adjusts easily, and I recommend it.
I was able to get rid of my Meuller wrist brace, which turned out to be a good thing. This new one, for some reason, manages to apply the appropriate amount of pressure. It's also a lot more pleasant. I wish I had a third hand to put it on, but I'm getting used to it. My wrist may never be the same after saving my life in a bike accident more than a year ago, but this brace makes biking and other strenuous activities pain-free.
For carpal tunnel syndrome, I have to sleep with braces on both wrists every night. My fingers and arms become numb if I don't have it. I hoped that by not restricting my hands as much as my other braces, I would be able to stabilize my wrist. My old braces' velcro was wearing out and not staying tight, which caused me to wake up frequently. As a result, I made the decision to give them a shot. My hands remained numb the first night as I adjusted. The numbness went away for the most part after I tightened it a little more, but my hands swelled up horribly. They never did anything like that with my previous braces. I'm not sure if I had them too tight, but any looser and my hands and arms would have gone completely numb. I've been using them solely to keep my old braces velcroed on for the past couple of weeks. It does, however, make them extremely bulky, which I dislike. However, that is not how the braces should be worn. I wish I had not purchased them and instead purchased a full wrist support brace. But, hey, it's a small price to pay. They appear to be well-made, but they aren't the answer I was looking for.
