It's easier to pull the splint out from the top if you start from the bottom. br>The larger splint can be removed from the bottom or base. It has a bottom velcroed flap that you must open in order to slide the splint down. out.

I developed a tendon issue with my thumb and the top of my wrist after having carpal tunnel surgery, and it was excruciatingly painful. A thumb stabilizing brace was recommended by my surgeon. I showed him a few options from the Amazon store on my phone, and the Doctor chose this one, which I ordered right there in his office, proving that all of this technology can be useful sometimes HAHA. It took a week for the symptoms and pain to subside, but they are now gone and have remained gone as long as I continue to use this on a regular basis, not religiously, but on a regular basis 4- Just to bed five times a week. I hope this has been of assistance to you as well.
Except for the inside thumb strap, it fits fairly well. Circulation is cut off because the base is a little too tight. br>There is no use for the outside thumb strap. It has Velcro on it, just like the others, and it looks like it should go through a loop and back to attach. But. There's no point in being there if there's no reason to be. I've tried various methods, including wrapping the strap around my palm. It simply does not make any sense. Without it, the thumb is safe. For me, it works well.
value, there are a few things to consider The difference between a medical-grade product and a consumer-grade product is significant. When "taping" the velcro shut, it lines up in an unusual way. The velcro also doesn't hold up as well as it does on a medical-grade, identical-looking brace I have for my other hand, and the brace frame that covers my palm extends up to the base of my fingers, allowing it to become dirty from the things I touch. Only the bottom third of my palm is covered by the medical-grade brace, allowing my skin to breathe and keeping the brace clean.
This thumb and wrist brace is extremely uncomfortable. To make it bearable, I ended up chopping parts off and gluing cotton pads on. It splints my thumb well enough, but the palm piece covers the bottom of my fingers completely and prevents you from using your hand in any way.
My wife's wrists were aching from carpal tunnel, and a simple wrist brace helped, but it didn't help with her trigger thumb. When I saw this brace with the thumb support, I thought it might help, so I bought one for each hand, which she wore at night and found to be extremely beneficial to her thumb and wrist when she woke up in the morning.
Excellent transaction, and the seller was extremely helpful when I had questions about sizing and fit. It's a high-quality item that's also extremely supportive. I highly recommend both the seller and the product; my pain has significantly decreased in the three days that I've been wearing it.
For several days, I had pain in my wrist just below my thumb after pushing open the windows sash at an awkward angle. I tried wrapping and immobilizing, but the wrapping hurt the entire time, so I went to the doctor, who advised me to get a thumb brace, which I did, and after a few hours of wearing it, I felt a lot better. I couldn't type with it on, so I didn't wear it at work, but it made me feel so much better after about three nights that I was almost back to normal. There will be no pain for a few more nights! It did not put any pressure on that part of my wrist when I was wearing it, and I found it to be quite comfortable.
My doctor recommended that I buy a brace to separate my thumb from an inflamed tendon running from the base of my thumb down my arm. She even used her computer to search Amazon and demonstrate what she was talking about. I placed an order for this one after she recommended it to me. After putting it on, my thumb began to tingle and felt as if it were cutting off circulation. I tried adjusting the strap until it wasn't even attached, but it didn't make a difference. It was a complete waste of money to purchase this item. The one I found at my neighborhood pharmacy is more effective. This item is not something I would recommend to others.
