I ripped it the first time I used it in my garage because I slid my boot toe across it while repositioning myself. This isn't going to hold up for very long.
Being on my knees on any hard surface hurts a big guy like me, who weighs 350 pounds. So I purchased it, and it is fantastic. I only use it for kneeling before picking it up and storing it. I imagine that if you walked all over it in boots, you'd quickly destroy it because it's soft.
The black material is too soft for car work, but it works well. It is simple to cut. After only one brake job, there were three small tears/cuts.
well. When working on cars or motorcycles with my knees on the ground, I occasionally get a bursitis attack on my left knee. My previous pad was too small for twisting, turning, and other activities. This appears to be the perfect size; it's a fantastic product that is well worth the money.
It works well in a TXM shop for racking cars and trucks on lifts.
Nuts and bolts fit perfectly in the magnetic holder. I was concerned that it would be thinner than the others I'd tried, but I actually prefer it! It's exactly what I was looking for. It's light and easy to carry around. It's great for me because I'm 6'2 215 pounds. It's very relaxing. It has so far withstood the test of time.
I've been using a kneeling pad for a long time because most of my projects seem to be at that level for one reason or another! br>This one is a lot more comfortable than my old one, and it's a lot bigger, so it doesn't have to be moved as much. Small screws are easier to find with the magnetic tray. My fasteners are almost always stainless steel, so it doesn't work as well on them, but they're still in the well.
It should be handled with caution as it is not very long lasting. I stepped on it, ripping the top layer off in the process. I had hoped for a higher-quality product at a lower price.
