Questions & Answers
I find your question to be interesting. "Yes" is the correct response. These knee pads are not made of any specific material. As a tile worker for over 25 years, I always use these when I'm up on the roof. When Home Depot started carrying these about 10 years ago, these were by far the best knee pads I've ever used. It's for whatever reason that Home Depot stopped carrying them, and I found them on Amazon instead. It is great to have new pairs whenever I need them, so I buy 5 or 6 at a time to ensure I will never run out. Its outer surface is made of a rubbery material that isn't going to scratch my floors (in my case, wood). A spongy material is used in the inner layer, so sweat and water will not dissolve it. My knees were covered in mud when I wore these while digging up plumbing pipes in the yard. I think it's fine in a bathtub, which is my long answer to your question
It is true. I don't have to scratch the floor, but my knees are safer
There are a few other knee pads that move a little too, and I have tried several of them, but I find that the good points far outweigh the bad ones.
There was no replacement strap as I could not find it anywhere, so I had to buy the entire knee pad set Previously, I purchased some cheaper straps elsewhere, which I'm using on an older set of knee pads, although they don't look like these ones.

As for the knee pads themselves, they are made of a solid material This hard plastic is strapped with rubber straps and has foam support. been doing well for several years and primarily have been used indoors on hardwood floors and bathroom tiles but would cope well with outdoor use as well. Can you please tell me why there are only three There is nothing ergonomic or comfortable about these knee pads at all. The only way to wear them is over long pants (bare skin is quite painful). I find the rubber straps dig into my skin and are generally uncomfortable (even when worn I think my skinny legs are the reason why the straps also tend to pop off the attachment studs very As a result of their hard plastic design, the knee pads do not flex very much (driving down their wearability even further).
Having worked in wood flooring for many years, I have tried a lot of kneepads and these are the only type that offer the best all around results for fit, feel and function for a work kneepad. The problem is. Everyone that I have worked for and has tried using two straps complains that there is too much strap and that the pants are bunched behind the knees. How I do my job You would cut just under the top strap's securing knob and continue on to the third ridge above and along one top knob to the other. By doing this, the knee pad is lighter and one strap is left. When you first try them on, it feels strange, but using only the lower strap, you quickly realize that it is the best way to wear them. As of this week, Lowe's and Home Depot have switched from carrying the CLC to a very similar one. Although the distance is close, I will not purchase those types again because they possess To buy several to stock up, I went to Amazon in search of CLC pads. As a result, I don't like to use gel CLC knee pads for my work because there is too much padding inside, and my knee tends to slide off the cushion during all of the moving around I do. It is better to use the gel model for more stationary applications
Not a 5 star as the top strap is a negative in terms of usage and people tend to think that they must.
I find this design to be more effective as well. These kneepads have no problem staying in place. I dislike kneepads that sag down around my ankles. Despite its comfort padding and removable straps, this vest is quite sturdy. You can get new buttons too, but putting them in is not as easy as it sounds Maybe it takes a special tool to get the job done Basically, once the buttons break, it's game over. Mine last a little over two years, and I wear them about half the days I recommend it.
Over the years I have tried many different knee pads, and I have been using these exclusively now for six years I have been married for seven Neither the top strap nor the bottom strap are ever used by me. 2 straps have ripped from constant use and two strap buttons broke off after years of every other day use. There doesn't seem to be a way to fix it. Because I am a big guy, my durability might be affected by this. This would be a solid knee pad that would give decent comfort for the money. There are improvements to be made as mentioned in the previous sentence.
These were great while I had them, but I was only able to use them halfway through a one-week audition. As my knees hit the outer shell of the room project after smushing the originally nice dense foam cushion to paper thin, I had already given up on the project. It probably took about four to four and a half hours for me to wear them. It is currently listed around $22, but I paid $18 and a few cents for it. My only wish is that they had lasted longer as they were very comfy at first. Is it possible to replace the padding with new foam?.
They were purchased for a bamboo grove for which I was working. These kneepads looked like a good replacement for the old bamboo ones destroyed by the bamboo leaves. The only problem is that if you have shorts on (we live in a hot climate area), the small "buttons" that hold the flexible straps in place dig into your legs on both sides and upper and lower when they are tight enough to keep them Although this can be minimized by wearing long pants or jeans, it is an issue for me since I'm on my hands and knees for several hours at a time when There is good hard shell padding on these knee pads with generous amounts of room for your knees while you crawl There is a better fit for a small woman, since these are supposed to be for men based on the size. Otherwise, it is.
You need to tighten the straps in order for them not to move The straps dug into my skin even when I wore jeans. Toward the end of the day, my skin was red and I had a burning sensation from where the straps rested. Several others have already commented on how many grooves there are. It would not be a good idea to use them. It was very uncomfortable for me to wear the straps since they dug into my legs and seemed durable. The Dewalt DG5204 looks promising, so I will try it. This brand has a nice wide strap, so you'll hopefully be more comfortable wearing it.
The original knee pads were broken so my husband went to every Home Depot in the city to replace them. My search online for these turned up positive reviews, I read the reviews, ordered and received The new ones are identical in every way to the ones he replaced. He was amazed at the similarity between the two. This is a great product, and it is good to know the company still exists.
