I would like to draw your attention to a few points. leather coating on the pads advertised as being 'leather' appears to be misleading. The pads do not appear to be leather and are coated with a rubberized gripping material, rather than what appears to be leather. To my eye, this does not appear to be leather. They were awesome to my very, very picky taste! It took me years to find an acceptable alternative to my turtles, which were either too big, bulky, or uncomfortable to wear. I had purchased various replacement kneepads over the years in an attempt to find something as tough, comfortable, and easy to wear as I didn't know these existed until I found them! You should check these out. Comfortable enough to wear all day long, lightweight, easy to enter and exit, and easy to strap on and off. Gardening and home projects are what I use it for.

Poorly designed button that holds the buckle on the strap is used as an anchoring system. An embedded stud that holds the button is too short or too tapered, which ultimately leads to the attachment failing. There have been two such cases with the knee pads I ordered on At the time of failure, I noticed the first episode and restored the attachment by using epoxy cement and clamping the button on the embedded shaft for eight hours. I did not notice the failure until I took off the knee pad that the second button had failed. Due to inability to locate the button, I was unable to repair the device (please see attachment Amazon (Amazon They should replace the item under their stated lifetime warranty, so I will be able to amend my review. ). In response to my Amazon review, Beskar is sending me more of their Pro Flooring Knee Pads and I have received a replacement pair. The knee pads have been in use for a month now with no problems therefore, they cannot be rated any lower than 5 stars, as they are the best knee pads I have ever used as far as comfort and functionality are concerned. It doesn't get any better than that, does it? It has always been my practice to use the hard shell knee pads. I have laid a lot of pavers in a variety of yard improvement projects during this last month. In spite of their protective quality, these hard-shell pads did not stay in place and the straps were sore on my knee backs. It is my hope that these will feel better after I bought them. The thing is, because of the pavers and a lot of kneeling down on dirt, sand, or cement, I laid about 40 more pavers this morning. It feels good on the front of my knees too, and I did not have back pain while wearing these because the straps did not chafe my rear even when I was wearing shorts. It's also very comfortable while standing or walking, which is impossible with Pads are pliable and tough but the black part of them is malleable. With only 5 hours of hard use, I cannot actually comment on durability, but I can tell that sand has taken a toll on the pads from being caught between the pad and my knee. However, the material on this is scuffed not to mention that there are no tears. Although they're smaller, I don't think it's significant, and I expect them to last a long time. As a whole, I'm very happy with the products I purchased and would recommend them or buy them again with no problem.
