The strap is a single piece

Beautifully made and extremely comfortable, these pads are a good buy. The single strap appears to be a better option for me, but it can cause the knee pad to shift or fall.

This is the best knee pad

I think these are the best pads I've ever bought. Despite using them exclusively for rough flat stones, they don't rip or cause discomfort behind my knees after kneeling for awhile. I never have any issues with them after kneeling for awhile.
