It's a Velcro wristband that keeps you secure during your workout.
Following carpal tunnel surgery, I used these. They were excellent until I regained wrist strength; the best brace I used for carpel tunnel syndrome was a Walgreens brand brace. It comes in a grey color and costs $19. Good luck
I'd close the Velcro, soak it, and wash it by hand, gently swirling it, then rinsing and patting it dry between two towels and laying it flat to dry.

It's the best one I've ever used, with the exception of one flaw that reduces it from five to four stars. The outer strap's velcro attachment is extremely tenacious, making removal extremely difficult. To get it loose, I occasionally have to slide it off my wrist. This is the most adhesive velcro I've ever seen on a personal item; it's almost industrial strength. The only reason this product does not receive five stars is because the velcro is too good.
I'm 55, and the extra support these provide for my wrists while doing vinyasa or handstands is fantastic. Over the years, I've experimented with a variety of wrist straps and found that these are the best.
I'm not a reviewer by nature. However, as a multi-faceted company, I wanted to share my experience as a musician who suffers from carpal tunnel syndrome. They're fantastic, in my opinion! br>br>First and foremost, my CTS is unrelated to playing musical instruments. Initially, the injury was caused by attempting to force wheel bearings out while repairing a car. I believe it squished my median nerve. I've always worked on my posture with every instrument I play, and my guitars and basses are usually higher on the strap. This is extremely comfortable. br>br> Despite the lack of a hard bracing component, these maintain wrist stability and compression. You might have to contort slightly on guitar if you're a shredder and tapper and all that. Palm mutes are unaffected by the brace, unlike with a brace. They also have a fantastic appearance. Despite previous negative reviews, I haven't noticed any difficulty in releasing the velcro, and there is no odor. br>br>I'm going to order a second pair because I'll be using one for music and the other for everyday and sleeping.
I got these specifically for throwing shot put because I've been known to let the ball roll back on my hand, causing me to bend my fingers and wrist to the point of injury, which is both understandable and stupid. br>Anyway, I got these as a physical support for my hand as well as a mental reminder not to throw in that direction. On both counts, it's been a huge success. This product has endured a large number of practices and competitions, as well as a variety of weather conditions, including rain, snow, and more rain, during my indoor and outdoor track seasons this past year. The stitching has held up well, and the material's elasticity has not deteriorated. The velcro is a little worn, but it should last another two years before it needs to be replaced.
Because I haven't used them, I have no idea how good they are. Ziploc bags do not come with new, high-quality products. Because these were found in someone's snack bag, I'm guessing they're either junk or had a previous owner.
I've only had it for a couple of days, but it's already made a difference in my wrist. When I tried to get something out of my pocket, I had an over-the-thumb wristband on, and it was always in the way. This one fits my wrist problem perfectly.
I have small wrists, so I was worried these wouldn't fit, but they did! I've only worn them for one workout, so I'm not sure how much they'll help with my wrist pain, but they're comfortable and worth a try!.
It's even better with pk. I've used similar wrist supports in the past, which I usually got from a local store. These HiRul wrist compression straps are of exceptional quality, and they come with a 2-year warranty. I can keep one in my golf bag and one at home thanks to pk. This purchase has made me very happy.
