Questions & Answers

Is this a right-handed or a left-handed product?

either to the left or to the right.

Is this keeping your fingers from clenching in your palm? This appears to be my primary issue. ?

Yes. The palm of your hand rests on a pad inside the support, keeping your fingers straight out to the first joint.

Is it for the right hand, the left hand, or both?

Although I wear it on my right hand, the brace has a thumb hole on both sides and can be worn on either hand.

Works well, but may not be long-lasting if used frequently
4/5

Carpal/cubital tunnel syndrome and tennis elbow have been bothering me for months at a time. This brace is the best I've found for immobilizing my hand while I sleep so I don't sleep on it or bend it into a painful angle. br>br>On the down side, I've only just ordered my seventh of these since the end of 2015. There are two issues with the design. The padding that pushes up against your palm feels like styrofoam beads, and it will break down over time; the straps, on the other hand, are a bigger problem. The velcro is directly attached to the fabric on the brace's outside. And, over time, they'll begin to pull the threads out of the material, causing the velcro loops to detach. As a result of this, you're more likely to over-indulge. Tighten to see if it'll stick to something. And, in my case, I'll need to replace it eventually. br>br>They're great, so I keep buying them, but I'm only buying two or three a year on average. So just keep in mind that if you're like me and need to use it for extended periods of time (weeks to months at a time), you may need to replace it after a while, which is the only reason I gave it a 4 star rating instead of a 5 star rating.

What a relief it is! My right hand falls asleep about 15 times a night, waking me up each time; some nights are worse than others, and the severity of the problem varies depending on what I did the day before
5/5

I'm aware that I have carpal tunnel syndrome, but I doubt that I'll ever have surgery to treat it. This brace is incredible! It is extremely comfortable and simple to put on and remove. It also keeps my wrist in a neutral position, where it is neither flexed nor extended, allowing me to sleep through the night without having to worry about my hand falling asleep. This is a product that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

THIS ITEM IS NOT RETURNABLE, and it will be too small for wrists that are average to large
3/5

THIS ITEM IS NOT RETURNABLE, but you will not be informed of this on the website or during the ordering process. It isn't one-of-a-kind. If you have average to large hands and wrists, this may be too small for you. The issue is that the elastic panel inside the "tube" is much tighter than the velcro straps on the outside, making the velcro adjustments useless for me (male) because the panel was already too tight around my hand, wrist, and forearm. They're very comfortable IF they're the right size for you. Wearing them will cause you pain if they are too tight. These things should be available in two sizes.

I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome during pregnancy, but it was cured
5/5

This was purchased to aid in the treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome, which I've been experiencing recently. I'd never had carpal tunnel before this pregnancy, and it was so painful that I couldn't sleep at night. The problem has been solved by using this wrist guard. I placed a second order so that I could have one on each arm. It's very soft, but with the metal brace and foam beads, it's also very supportive. Throughout the night, it keeps your wrist at a relaxed angle. I would strongly suggest it.

Worth it
4/5

For quite some time, I had woken up with numbness and/or tingling in one or both hands. For a long time, I didn't think it was carpal; I thought it was dehydration or something. I'm diabetic, and I'm not sure why, but I thought I was dehydrating overnight? I told my doctor, and he was unconcerned, claiming that I was simply sleeping on my arms in an unusual position. Finally, I looked it up on Google and discovered that it was carpal tunnel syndrome. I used to believe that carpal tunnel syndrome was caused by typing for too long. Every day you pick up new information. I figured I'd have to accept it and move on. br>br>Well, I finally had enough of it. It could take 20 to 30 minutes if it happened. It took 30 minutes for the numbness to go away, which I despised. With a little more Googling, I discovered wrist braces that could be worn overnight, which made more sense for my problem than wearing braces during the day. I bought two because Amazon had the best price, and I was having problems with both arms. br>br>I wish I could say that my problem magically vanished the first night, as other reviews claim, but I'm sure there is a difference. I sometimes wake up with numbness or tingling in my fingers, but it goes away as soon as I straighten my fingers. As a result, these factors are very beneficial. br>br>By the way, I purchased these during a heat wave, and they were extremely hot on those nights. They're fine now that it's cooled down, and they're comfortable to wear. They do make it difficult to pick up items, but so be it. I adjusted the straps to fit and simply slip them on and off rather than moving them, as some reviewers suggested, in the hopes that they would not wear out. Also, I am a petite lady with small hands, and I believe these would look great on either hand.

In just one week, you can get rid of your wrist pain! After reading numerous reviews, I decided to purchase this wrist guard, and I'm glad I did
5/5

My wrist was in excruciating pain after a car accident, and after physical therapy failed to alleviate it, my doctor diagnosed me with tendonitis and advised me to wear a wrist brace at night. I chose a nighttime brace because I didn't want to draw too much attention to my injury at work, and I figured I'd start with that and add a daytime brace later if necessary. Although there is a small padded support for your palm that makes this unsuitable for use during the day, I find this brace to be very comfortable at night. In a spandex/lycra sort of way, the fabric is soft and silky. I like that it can be used for either the left or right hand (though I'm hoping I'll never need it for the other). It's comfortable to sleep in, and the three velcro straps allow you to fine-tune it until you find that sweet spot where it's not too tight but still prevents your arm from moving. br>br>The best part is that after only a week of wearing it, my wrist pain has significantly decreased. I used to get a burst of pain if my toddler accidentally bumped my wrist the wrong way or if I picked up even the tiniest of objects. Now. nothing. It's incredible. I hope that everyone who reads this has the same level of success.
