Questions & Answers
It wasn't as bad as it could have been. The quality was satisfactory, but I needed something to keep my thumb from moving, and this only served to stabilize it. It seemed to help at first, but after a few weeks, it was no longer effective. This may or may not work for you, depending on your needs. I wouldn't recommend it if you want to completely stabilize your thumb. I bought another Arrow Splints Thumb Brace | for Arthritis, Trigger Thumb, Carpal Tunnel, Thumb Stabilizer, Tendonitis, Sprain - The Thumb Spica Splint can be worn on either side. It was almost $20 for a Left Hand Thumb Splint Thumb Exerciser, and it was well worth it! It had much better stabilization and a higher thumb position.
I'm not sure what material it's made of, but it's incredibly breathable and comfortable. It's comfortable enough for me to wear at night.
I keep it on all the time, unless I'm doing something that requires it to be wet. I believe it is highly dependent on the severity of your problem. Because mine is so bad, it always works. If you're not sure, wear it only when you're sleeping. That's fantastic if it works out for you. If this isn't possible, extend the time throughout the day.
It's the most effective I've come across. As shown, it provides support for the wrist, a portion of the hand, and the thumb. I would purchase this product again.

De Quervaine's (thumb/wrist) tendinitis responds well to this treatment. It successfully reduces the amount of movement in my wrist and thumb, allowing me to heal. It's soft and easy to care for. I'm going to order a second one so I can keep one in the laundry room. I also used kinesiology tape and tried another brace. Neither of these treatments were effective in treating this condition.
Take a look around. Cons:
1. Because the Velcro that wraps around the thumb is too weak, the strap comes loose so frequently that the brace does not keep the thumb immobilized.
2. The bottom of the brace has a stiff wrap that hurt my carpel area of my wrist, and I'm not looking for any additional discomfort.
3. For someone with small hands, it's too big.
4. It is not at all pleasant to wear. Advantages: br>br>
1. br>2. The item can be worn on either hand. Even though the parts are mismatched, the construction appears to be sound.
3. It's not too heavy.
4. There's nothing but black in this room.
5. Because the Velcro is of such low quality, it is very easy to get fuzz balls from it. easy.
6. I could put it on my non-painful hand and use it to persuade others to help me with my work. nahbr>br>It's possible that replacing the Velcro in the thumb area will fix the securing problem. br>br>If I get some moleskin and wrap it around my wrist, I think it will help protect my carpel tunnel nerve. br>br>I disagree that making changes is the best way to go. It's a good idea to use skin protection pads to make this work. br>br>Evaluation of my advantages and disadvantages Alternatives: br>Look for a more suitable brace. br>br>I'm going to look for a thumb spika splint brace that also protects the wrist's carpel tunnel area.
I needed something to help with the inflammation in my thumb. This worked for me when I tried it! My thumb healed after a few days of wearing it. I've had to brace joints in the past to relieve swelling, but never my thumb. This was a light and airy piece of clothing. It also improved the condition of the rest of my hand. It only lasted a couple of days on me. It turned out to be wonderful.
My trigger thumb problem has been greatly improved by using this product. The information provided was correct. It's simple to use and comfortable, and it keeps my left thumb in place. Anyone who has a problem with their thumb joint and their ability to keep it immobilized should try this.
Does a good job of supporting my thumb and tendons.
The metal stabilizers are positioned incorrectly. I have tendonitis in my second thumb knuckle and trigger thumb, so I can move my thumb in any direction while wearing this product, but it must be loose. In addition, this product does not extend far enough up the thumb to prevent trigger thumb. This product also doesn't allow for free returns, so it appears that I'm stuck with a useless item; based on its description and reality, I'd give it a ZERO if I could.
Although it does not cure trigger thumb, it does assist in the stabilization of the thumb, which helps the healing process. Excellent value for money.
It's a great option for support, and I use it when I'm holding my camera because it can be worn on either hand. Because of the larger lens, the camera is heavy and puts a lot of stress on my left thumb. This brace has proven to be extremely beneficial.
