This wrist support comes with a small arthritis handbook, but no instructions on how to properly wear it. The wrap is soft and comfortable, but it does not look like the picture on the box (as shown in my photos). It's designed to wrap backwards.

I've tried over five different types of similar protective wrist braces and this one is by far the best. Due to severe arthritis in my wrist, I use it when playing racquet sports (tennis, pickleball). I finally had wrist surgery, and now that it is fully healed, I still wear this brace whenever I play racquet sports to protect that weaker wrist and base-line. the joint of the thumb It's soft and pliable, and it wraps up easily by inserting your thumb into the hole and wrapping the velcro end around it to close it. It can be adjusted to fit nearly any wrist size, and it has no metal or stiff parts, so you can play sports while wearing it. It's a toned beige that's not too bulky, so it's not too noticeable (I wish the black edging wasn't there, but it adds a bit of style). It's something I'd strongly advise you to try.

These braces have proven to be the most effective in relieving pain in both of my arthritic hands. The inside of my thumb was torn by another brand. the same style of design I just received my third pair of shoes and would like to take advantage of my lifetime guarantee, which is stated on the packaging. because I'm always wearing them. They don't get in the way of my household duties. For me, this is a fantastic new type of brace.

Unfortunately, this did not help me with the pain on the pinky side of my wrist. br>br>Because the wrap goes over the back of my hand first, then around, the majority of the wrist support goes to the thumb-side of my wrist. a part of my hand - I tried putting it on "inside out" (under the hand first, then up and over on the pinky side) and it helped a lot, but it's not designed for this, so the velcro ends up on the wrong side and you can't fasten it. br>br>I tried my hardest to make it work, but I'll have to return it. (Also, as other reviewers have mentioned, it has a petroleum odor when first used. ) )br>br>Recently updated: The company contacted me and offered to send a different type of wrap at no additional cost, which I am hoping will help with my wrist pain. I appreciate your efforts in locating a solution that works for me.

This wrist wrap is one of my favorites. My wrists have been aching every night since I typed all day at work. This was extremely beneficial in alleviating my wrist pain. I use it every night after work, and I'll bring it to work with me if my pain flares up. This is something I would recommend to anyone who spends a lot of time typing.

But the bottom line is that this is not a wrist guard that will prevent further injury or heal any existing wrist pain issues caused by carpal tunnel syndrome or inflamed wrist joints. What doctor came up with this idea? I'd like to speak with that physician and ask him a few questions. I have three family members who are doctors, and they all agreed that this is a poor wrist guard that is also very short! The picture does not reflect how it fit me. I would not recommend this product; the small brochure included exercises for strengthening the wrist, but the booklet (which may have been written by a doctor) has nothing to do with the wrist guard. The exercises are available for anyone to look up on the internet!.

The wrist support is well-made, stays in place, and is a reasonable amount of comfort to wear. I chose this one because it was the least bulky and easiest to move your hand into while still providing support; however, because it only covers the wrist and lacks an edging around the thumb hole, it is slightly less comfortable around the thumb. It needs to be secured tighter because it only covers the wrist area, making it too difficult to put on and remove without releasing the strap, which is a feature I look for so I can easily slip it on and off during the night. Other wrist supports I own allow me to put them on and take them off without having to re-adjust the straps. It's also less effective than other supports because it only covers the wrist area and provides no support. It completely eliminated the pain and numbness that began in the middle of the night within a few minutes of putting it on one night, and it almost completely eliminated the pain and numbness the next night. The support was ineffective on the third night, but replacing it with a well-padded support extending from the palm to several inches past the wrist and a metal insert that night alleviated the pain and numbness in a matter of minutes. Even with severe pain radiating up the arm before putting on the other wrist supports I have, they are usually effective within a few minutes, but they all have different tradeoffs. Because it does not completely prevent poor wrist positioning at night, this support appears to be better suited for daytime use. br>br>I have a few different types of wrist supports to help with moderate carpal tunnel symptoms that come and go at night (for a few days or weeks at a time). These include a reversible well padded longer (8" long) support extending from the palm to several inches past the wrist with a metal insert, a shorter one (6" long) made of stretchable cloth material extending from the palm to the wrist with a metal insert, another pair of longer ones (7" long) with a sock type lining and three large velcro straps extending from the palm to several inches past the wrist with a metal insert, which was only available in This thin one is the most comfortable and least bulky, but it's not as easy to put on or take off, and it doesn't provide as much support, particularly at night. The well-padded one is very comfortable, easy to put on or remove without adjusting the straps because it is longer, but it is the most cumbersome due to its size and padding (better as a nighttime brace).
