If my wrist is 6 inches, I'm going to have a lot of fun with this. Is it better to get the medium or large, since the smallest point is 5 inches?

I'd rate it as medium.

Is this something that can be thrown in the washing machine?

Unfortunately, I discarded the box. I'd take off the splint and put it in a net bag to wash. Everything should work out fine.

Can it be used for any hand or just one? The picture says either or, but the title says only one. ?

They are made for a specific hand.

So it doesn't say it in the description, but it says "contains latex" on the box once I get it. Does anyone know where that is? Is it separate from the rest of the brace, or is it woven into it?

It's on the side of the brace, where the elastic material stretches out the fit to accommodate larger hands like mine.

It will suffice until you can afford a more suitable replacement. It's light and airy, and it's a pleasure to wear. My wrists are so bad that I had to buy braces with a longer support, but if you only have a little pain, it's great.

I had no pain in my wrists or hands the first night I slept with these on my wrists, and I had no numbness. They have made me very happy. They're so comfortable that they don't wake me up at night.
