Neither a medium nor a large will need to be changed. Medium supports the back but more tightly than the small. Buying a medium for myself and a large for my wife was the right decision. A medium fits a 32 waist and a large fits a 34 waist. It will help if you have a waist measurement of 40 inches.
XL is the size to choose for 42" wide.

Cooler than regular fabric, mesh is made from fine fibers. If I am working inside in the winter, I wear it with a light shirt, my pants on top, and an overshirt. This is what I wear outside of my shirt in I feel significantly less back discomfort while moving scaffolds, paint buckets, and equipment with the aid of this. Even though I am not tall, I find this to be a comfortable fit. In addition to the price, there is no comparison. My large is the perfect size, and the extra tabs that can be adjusted for tightening make it even more comfortable. There are days when I need less support, and other days when I need I had a great summer thanks to it.
One of the ones I bought for my wife was much cooler than the other one. This is why I bought one The cooling effect and the upheld back pad makes this belt different from the usual compression belt. In addition to having a bad back, I sometimes need to wear the belt all day because of an older injury. Definitely better and much more useful as well as more comfortable during hot weather. It is not a common question, but a few people ask about the size of what it fits, so I will address that. As a size large I have a 36" waist and the Large belt should fit me comfortably if I order a 30" to a 40". When I adjust the adjustment straps, even when I wear a medium, it is still tight when my wife wears a Medium. fits comfortably between a 26" and 34" waist. The adjustment straps allow for a wide variance in the comfort level and waist size. I recommend that whatever your shirt size is that you choose the belt size you will be comfortable with. With double compression straps, a snug or loose fit can be achieved as required. This can be used for heavy work or for a minor back support as needed. It is much better for my back to have the back pad than a belt that only compresses. In terms of placement, the back pad seems to be right where support is I find this belt to be much better than other belts I have used in the past. There may be better ones out there, let's just say I have not found them yet. The one I have here will do for now.
This caught my eye the most. Since none of the others I researched had one, I decided to give this one a try, and I'm so glad I did. When I put the support belt on and the lumbar pad on my lower back, it instantly relieved my lower back pain! I felt so much better! It measures 9" x 7" in size, and the inward pressure and support eased my pain to the point where I could walk without hunching over and sit without getting stiff and sore. I completely agree with the comment that whoever invented that lumbar pad was a freaking genius! Approximately 4" of velcro overage is found in front of the crotch in the size large. I have a 43" waist/hip area, so the large fits me perfectly. As well as me, my husband has lower back issues and can fit into this as well, despite finding his abdominal/hip area to be There was a 22-dollar charge for the large. I paid $25 at the time of purchase and it was well worth it! Almost all the other back supports I looked at cost more, even triple the price, as well as having no lumbar pads. There are no words to describe how great this back support is! Amazon would let me give it 10 stars if they allowed it!.
This Proflex 1051 back support is highly effective in terms of supporting your back. It fits snug There is no way to wear this other than standing, which is the only reason I gave it a 4 star rating. Whenever I wanted to simply sit down for a minute, I had to remove the back support. I suppose it would be ideal if I was always on my feet, walking, lifting or otherwise moving from one place to another. In regard to the brace, I returned it because I want the support while standing, but I also want to be able to sit comfortably without constantly putting it on and taking it off. If you are on your feet all day, this products may be the answer to your back pain problems.
I was impressed with how fast my order was delivered. In all my experience with back supports, I have never felt so comfortable. Soft rubber pads in the back put nice pressure on the spine and it is very adjustable and fits very well. I have a 36" waist and the Lg fits well. 16 hours a day, seven days a week. it's likely that I'll have a back operation. I have some bulging discs (very common) and I think I have an arthritic facet joint (or joints). As for negative reviews in regards to it rolling/folding over, there were a few There are likely two causes (1) that we (like myself) have a little extra around the midsection which makes them fold over, and (2) try adjusting the secondary straps a little higher to add more layers to the top.
