Yes, I'm using the wrist brace right now. It gives me the ability to move my wrist. It accomplishes its goal. Very beneficial
You can adjust the wrist strap as tight as you can stand and certainly as tight as you can get from taping the wrist; you'll have to judge whether that's tight enough for boxing. I used mine for wrist pain while playing tennis and it worked fine.
Made in China, it says.
This bracelet can be worn on either wrist and fits equally well on both.

I bought three different wrist supports from three different companies. The BraceUP provided the most space around the thumb and was the most comfortable for me. I have small hands and am a woman. This brace provided support for both my carpal tunnel wrist and the arthritis in the base of my right thumb, which had recently been operated on. EveShine (which is slightly shorter than the others) and Juno Sports (which came with right and left hand braces that looked the same) were the other two types of braces. Only BraceUP provided instructions for wrapping it (on the box). The thumb holes in the other two braces were too small for me. They were all irritating because they made my hand/wrist sweat. I like the fact that BraceUP is a little wider. I hope this information aids you in your decision-making process. Below is a photo of each brace, which follows the comparison photo: Front and back braces are required. (front/back) EveShine If you have a large hand, it will be difficult to wrap; if you have a smaller hand, it will be easier to wrap. After that, there's Juno Sports.
I'm guessing they changed the design because I don't see why anyone would give this a five-star rating. Here's a list of all the flaws in this brace: br>1 It doesn't appear to be the same as the photos, particularly around the thumb. Several reviewers state that they compared other mattresses to this one and found it to be the most comfortable. The brace has a thin strip that wraps around your thumb and tends to fold up if you try to tighten the wrap in vain to gain support, which brings me to my next point. br>2 It's nothing more than a neoprene strip with Velcro and an edge whip- the stitching This is a wrap, not a brace, and it provides very little support; anyone who claims it helps their "Carpel" isn't suffering from carpel tunnel syndrome. br>3 It's made for a low price. Mine is already falling apart at the seams after only three days. Between the loop material and the neoprene, there is now a 1/2-hole. br>4 It's too narrow and short, causing constriction rather than support. br>In conclusion, skip this one. Look for a company that has been manufacturing braces for a long time. Pass on a name brand because, even if it is relatively inexpensive, you will not get your money's worth; it is better to spend a few extra dollars for the real thing. deal. I'm curious as to how this received so many five-star ratings.
When I crochet for an extended period of time, the movements cause me pain, numbers, and weakness. I wanted to find a way to improve and reduce the discomfort I was experiencing long after I had stopped, so I looked for something to help. br>br>The brace itself is very soft and comfortable to wear. I have sensitive skin, so it irritates me when something scratchy rubs against it. I don't have any issues wearing the brace for long periods of time, and it doesn't smell at all, even when I'm sweating, which is great in the summer. The brace is well-designed, and I'm pleased with the material's quality. It doesn't seem like it'll rip or fall apart on me easily. The thumb hole is generously sized and comfortable to wear without being too tight. Because it's adjustable, I can choose how tight I want the brace to be. This is useful because I tend to swell up while crocheting. I'll be able to wear it loose until the swelling subsides, then adjust it as needed. You can feel your wrists being supported when you put on the brace. It isn't too thin or anything to provide adequate support, and lifting objects while wearing it is simple and convenient. If I pulled or strained my wrist, I'd get this brace right away and wear it until it felt better. br>br>Overall, I like the brace and believe it is of good quality for the price.
It's comfortable and provides good wrist support, but it only compresses the wrist below your hand; the picture makes it look like it fits like a glove, but the part that goes over your thumb and wraps around the top of your hand does not compress your hand - This is why I purchased this wrap: I have a minor ache in my wrist that extends to the bottom of my hand, exactly where the wrap is shown in the photos. Furthermore, the area around the thumb is awkward and inconvenient. This is a product that I would not recommend.
This is not a device that's made for people who have carpal tunnel or tendonitis because it actually looks around your thumb and that's where it anchors and pulls from while you're wearing it for support, which can actually cause more injury, so I wouldn't recommend it to a person who has carpal tunnel or tendonitis. I won't return it because it's only $9, but I won't wear it because it's aggravating my pain. It's made of very cheap material and isn't wicker moisture-wicking at all, so it's basically a piece of cheap material with velcro, and I'm very disappointed because of how it was advertised. I don't use the thumb feature and instead wrap it around my wrist for pressure and pain relief. It can also be used for wrist support, but it isn't the most effective compress I've ever purchased.
I looked online for a brace that I could wear at work while still allowing me enough wrist movement to complete my tasks. Due to the lack of metal for stabilization, I had my doubts that this brace would be able to fulfill its purpose. When I was sleeping one evening, I put it to the test. My hand tingles and my fingers feel like they're about to explode while I'm sleeping without a stabilizing brace. I'm happy to report that this brace performed admirably when put to the test. I would strongly recommend this product to anyone who suffers from carpal tunnel syndrome.
