If one is bent over a sink with their head resting on the cabinet floor, a battery pack may come into contact with them. A tethered lamp is often strained by the chain that holds it to the outlet. There are three other brands where that connection has failed. Bulletproof is better than long-lasting! It's not as bright, but it lasts longer. You should be able to put it under a sink with no problem. To keep spare batteries on hand, I keep them on hand when my batteries.
