There are fewer lumens in the LED version and the area covered is smaller, but in the end, this isn't what I was looking for. It is just the way I am used to incandescent flashlights as well as they won't bother my eyes as much as LED light can. This is an excellent flashlight if you are looking for a durable, reliable flashlight with a small footprint.

I've carried one of these in my pocket, or its (Mag) equivalent, for many years. The two I had wore out, so I bought two new ones - both are as useful as the previous ones. In addition I am giving one to my wife and one to my Two companies have already begun cutting into the market less than a year after being founded I haven't been able to rely on these little gems any longer. One stopped working, and none of them have the same sharp focus. I have no idea what is going on, but living in the "back country" makes such a thing essential. My experience with Maglites has always been good, but it's been quite a while since I had to use one. While lots of products have suffered from a drop in manufacturing quality, this is not the case for this item. Because it was a little cheaper than buying the light and kit separately, I bought the light with kit for my bugout bag. If you are not using your light regularly, make sure to store the batteries separately because the batteries fit perfectly within the casing of the light, and there is no space for an old battery to leak. You can see in the pictures that I have highlighted the red and blue filters and indicated where the spare bulb can be found within.

A must-have in the camera bag of any photographer. The maglite line of flashlights is one of my silly passions. Although I like all of them, the mini maglite is probably my favorite of them all, and I have at least several in assorted colors in my possession right now. There isn't much of an opportunity to see a truly brilliant engineering design, but this would have to is a standard flashlight. It offers a wide or a narrow beam based on how you turn the front piece, and it brings out a soft and bright beam. As a result, the flashlight is essentially like using a candle (without the risk of catching things on fire) during a blackout. Simply unscrew the front piece and invert it on the flashlight's bottom, which gives you hands free access to the light. A spare bulb is stored at the back end of the flashlight (such a thoughtful I wrote eulogies about these flashlights long before there were amazons or amazon reviews today, they are just as well made as they were back The aluminum body is solid and the rubber seals around the perimeter are good. The Eye-Fi GorillaPod is a must-have item for any photographer. The one I keep in my camera bag is always available to me. They aid me in finding my way when I am hunting around in the dark. If properly cared for, these flashlights will last for a long time. It is easy to find replacement bulbs. Ultimately I throw one out when the glass covering gets too hazy to be useful which tends to happen after a short period of use. However, this takes a lot of time.

ON THE BOTTOM Maglites are an excellent product that I cannot sing their praises Having one on hand is great for everyone, but photographers especially should keep one in their gear bag.

These are genuine Dash items. I opened one, installed batteries with a "good until 2028" date, and it works perfectly. I have been using mag light products for decades, and lost my mini mag light that I've been using for decades Dash are genuine products. It seems as though the life of the bulbs varies according to use and not noticing the bulb rotated in my Nite Ize tool pouch so that is life. The Zenon lamps that came with the mag lights do last as long as the original installation bulbs so that is life as well.

Light stinks dim, not bright at all, and I bought it because it said it came with Duracell batteries instead it came with garbage batteries but on a worse note I got the Duracell batteries in and still it's dim. Don't waste your money on this garbage.
