You can do it or you can't. The flashlight is quite bright, especially for the price. It is perfect to throw in a vehicle or backpack, especially because it is small and relatively cheap. As for me, I bought it for work in part due to the poor quality of the flashlight they have for checking chemical reactors. It was a good price for something that I won't be too disappointed if I drop, lose, or someone swipes it. I will be editing six times this week I haven't been able to turn on the flashlight for three days despite only using it lightly. Batteries were changed, but it did not work. I stopped what I was doing and got another flashlight after I stopped. If the flashlight lasts long enough, I'm fine with it, but it needs to be cheap.

I like it because it does what I want it to do. There is no limit to where you can use this. It can go on bedside tables, glove boxes, purses, and in any other place that a full size can't go. Furthermore, the light offers a wide spread and is bright, making it a great choice for night use. As an example, if you are walking to the parking lot, it illuminates not only the walkway but also the distance beyond the walkway so you can identify what is on either side of the walkway. Perfect for anyone, but especially for someone you care about. One of those was given to my college-aged granddaughters a couple of years ago for them to carry on campus as soon as they got off campus.
