Hurricane season is the best time to buy

My order for these flashlights came soon after I moved to Florida in anticipation of hurricane season. My only regret is not doing it sooner. It is amazing that they are so bright and powerful for such a small animal. We haven't experienced a power outage that lasted more than a few minutes, but I am confident these will handle the job if/when they are necessary.

In addition, My first impression is that these are really bright with just alkaline batteries
I'm going to order a lithium ion version so I can recharge them and get a bit I would say you get your money's worth with this product. I plan on buying again at some point.

The battery holder got so hot I burned my finger when I tried to put a battery in it

There is only one battery left in the holder, and it got very hot One was in a big box, so I cannot figure out how to return them. They are not harmless, so I will pitch them in the trash without batteries, and I am not amused by that.
