Oh how foolish I was. The animals that sleep on my land are always there at night I've got an acre and a half of land. It was impossible to see the end of the property from where I was standing due to two small dogs. There have been a number of coyotes caught on our cameras recently. Movement can be seen at the back of the property, but it can't always be clearly perceived. Despite the sun not being down yet, the light reached our backyard trees as the sun was nearly down. Having tested it in the dark, I now have a clear view of everything back there. This video is a little blurry, but the treeline is about 250 feet from where I was standing and it illuminates everything that's around it. There is a small area that it lights up, but it reaches the back I care about, so that's all I want. The battery life has not been tested. You might not require it since you just plug in every time and you won't use it where you might be wet. I haven't tried getting it wet or the battery life.
