Usually, I take them as a meal replacement even though they are survival tabs. They're great at taking care of people. It is hard to describe but it has a malted milk ball consistency.

Even though I have yet to use these tabs before, as I have heard such good things about them, I just couldn't resist these great I live in rural Maine where you never know if the weather will get bad. If there is a bad winter, some of these might have to be popped until it gets better. This is a much larger bottle than I expected, so it doesn't take up as much space as I anticipated, but it is.

The emergency kits are an excellent addition to the emergency kit that most people should have at home. Because I didn't open it and try any of them, I cannot speak to the taste. However, they come in a convenient case that I found convenient.
