I am sure that if it came to it where you had to eat these bars to survive, you wouldn't care if any were wasted due to you being rescued prior to needing to consume them all.

As far as I know, the package and design is intended for all climates and conditions for up to 5 years, so assuming you have favorable conditions you might expect a much longer time frame. And nothing but the most harsh and abusive conditions should affect it. I am sure that 5 years in the oven or half submerged in semi acidic bilge water or the like would be enough as long as you take even the slightest precautions, such as don't get them too hot and use a couple of gallon zip locks.
Those I got had no inner bag at all, just an aluminum vacuumed bag they come in long sticks instead of blocks or cubes so you need to keep them dry once opened once opened they have a solid cookie-like structure, but are not overly hard or flavourful. If you are having a challenging time eating, store some other foods and drinks that you can mix with water to make it easier.

There has been a lot of complaint about how unhealthy these are. The food on these plates isn't health food. It is survival food. The products are designed to contain a high calorie to weight ratio and to maintain a stable shelf life. In a survival situation, I would be glad to have something sweet to eat. I like that packaging because it is very air/water tight. There are a lot of health foods available elsewhere.
I have read the reviews, and I wouldn't recommend them. This is a type of survival bar. The high calorie content is ideal to keep you going if you get lost while hiking or for cheap prepping (Patriot sells them in bulk for 100 bucks). These bars were purchased since I could not stand the lemon taste of the others. Despite, again, the fact that we didn't buy based on taste, but rather on survival. My show ended on 3/20, and will end on 325. The seal was intact and the product was fresh. Here is a picture of me.
My favorite is the coconut and cinnamon SOS bars. As part of the challenge, I'm eating nothing but sos bars for 3 days. In an emergency situation, it would be enough. I would give it a try even though I'm very hungry still. When you get into a tight spot, you never know what to do.
My decision not to purchase these bars would have been the result of their HIGH sugar content if I had known.
Can you think of a better usage of sugar than 31 grams? It is made up of palm oil, corn starch, and wheat My calorie requirements were high, so I searched for calorie bars A healthy lifestyle does not mean being overweight- There are so many toxic ingredients in these. We regret to inform you that this item cannot be returned. It was necessary to dispose of them. Oh my God!.
Coyote-like pace to the delivery of the goods. There is an Acme Roadrunner trap order for coyotes. I have updated Four more packages were purchased, and I tried one to taste - It was excellent. As the ration bars are individually wrapped in twelve hermetically sealed wrappers, they remain fresh for days after opening the outer cover of a HEAVY pouch. Actually, we've been at it for a few weeks. My solution was to put them in a jar. Over the last two weeks, I haven't used more than four So at least four breakfast smoothies and a couple of small snacks can be made from what is left over. one quarter of a bar makes a great snack, and I have crumbled the same amount into smoothies filled with fruit, yogurt, icewater, and instant coffee - they have all been delicious. I really like this! divided by 12 bars should equal 250 calories each. Therefore, a quarter of a bar equals about 120 calories 62 is a relatively low bar. In the video games industry in San Francisco Bay Area (a company that works with the John Wayne movie "HATARI"), it seemed like a good opportunity to take some basic first aid classes, so C enrolled. The local fire department can provide training, and emergency kits can be provided as well. Since I am now in the coastal VA, I want to be prepared for the various kinds of disasters in my area (I survived the 2011 Virginia earthquake! 1) The S was ordered. There is a cinnamon COCONUT flavor in the double pack. Yes, you are right It is between The coconut tree! I received the packages as soon as they arrived. In order to resist the temptation, I am doing all that I can. Oh well, takin' it to the bank. In the same day I finish writing these reviews, I'll order some more. We offer great taste and convenience, whether you want it for dessert or for an emergency! My wife and I are opening a bottle of Chianti to go with the cheese, and we will There is space.
After arriving at the office, both packages of bars seemed to be in order, except that one of them was broken and appeared to contain AIR inside Although it looks like the bars are sealed, it's possible either they were poorly vacuumed, allowing a great deal of air to get in, or they are undergoing some reaction that causes them to give As a matter of fact, only one of the two packages can be used, as the one in the loose, poorly vacuumed package cannot.
The cinnamon has yet to be tried and I will update when I have. In an emergency, I would want to stock up on these products, so I bought two of these to see if they would benefit me. My surprise grew as I opened the coconut package to check out just how delicious it was. There is some similarity between the consistency of an animal cracker and that of a biscotti (the texture is not tough or crunchy). Similarly, the taste also resembles/is somewhere in the middle of those two. Unlike an animal cracker, this biscuit is sweeter and has more of an almond flavor than an animal cracker. Only thing I will struggle with is not eating more than three per day as they are so I will definitely stock up on these to have them on hand. They are filling, yet compact. I am not a dietary expert, so I cannot comment on the nutritional content of these.
