Questions & Answers

Do you know if this works for Glacier Bay toilets for Flapperless?

Yes, it is a miserable toilet to get parts for, but this one

The flush handle n2216rk1 is the same as the ?

Neither model number nor make is known to me. Nonetheless, it was a standard fitting handle that was designed for my Pegasus (Home Depot brand) low flow Basically, the handles are plastic silver ones that my 2 year old broke and the replacement was perfect. It's as easy as snapping

What do I do to fix the handle to keep it in place?

Since this design appears to be done so that the internal workings cannot be replaced, it makes no sense to allow that. In the end, it was more cost-effective to buy a new toilet and install it.

It worked until I had to remove the floater to clean calcium build-up. A handle will not appear automatically when it is closed. What does one need to do to ?

My valve bent backward after I replaced the handle after I bent it back. The bucket does not tip forward enough, which is causing the problem. You should see it bounce back up if it can rotate forward without being hit by the supply tube.

It is the perfect handle replacement part for Pegasus (Niagara) water conserving toilet tanks! I was blown away at how easy it was to replace! We are so happy! I was able to fix the Pegasus (Niagara) toilet tank (water conserving) handle issue WITHOUT any problems
5/5

cannot believe I have found the name of the tank that I inherited along with my home, and for which the previous owners had installed a 'Kohler touch-free' system also Depending on the flush frequency, every 5th flush is adjusted). It seems that they found a solution to the broken handle issue. In my case, it was lucky that I happened upon the picture (which I attached in case anyone else runs into the same problem). My research led me to "Pegausus toilets", which were the brand name version sold by Home Depot of this Niagara line. I then compared this drawing to what appeared to be the broken parts in the tank (the handle anchor part outside of the tank had been removed). However, I have to admit this was a perfect stroke of luck for everything to be discovered and it ended up being a 18 for this. It would have been better to use a 180 fix instead of a 00 fix. The experience was quite frustrating for me, so I wanted to share any information that could help someone else who is experiencing the same thing. All the best to everyone. I had the same luck as you.

A better flush can be achieved by installing this method
5/5

My in-laws were there when I visited them As a result of laws, the part could be ordered and installed. This handle works better than the old one that slipped off the shaft of the handle when it was removed. Snapping in place and staying put, the new one was easily installed. The new pivots work like wedges on the handle side of the pivot to release the water tray, which will make it easy to remove the old ones. In order to remove the toilet tank water line, you must cut the two fittings on the bottom of the water line and then remove the handle side of the toilet tank, which will tip up out of the other pivot. It is a simple process, but some directions should have been included. The flush is marginal, the water level needs to be adjusted to the very top of the water tray for the flush to be effective. The screw on ours was not tight enough to adjust the level. As a result, the water line was bent slightly towards the handle side of the float and the float was raised I had this problem before with a toilet that didn't flush, but it flooded when I tried it. As it is, I am unable to do so There was going to be a new toilet installed by the law. To ensure the water level was within eight inches of the top edge of the tray, the water level had to be adjusted.

Do you have a Glacier Bay toilet whose handle has broken? Your need for this is here
5/5

It turns out that Glacier Bay toilets work only with the brand they sell at home depot, and that only they stock their internal parts. There is no replacement kit for the cheap plastic flush handle so I had to fix it myself. These are the internals of their low water gravity shelves. This kit is exactly the one I needed from Amazon, and I found it there. are no detailed instructions, but I did find a video on how to replace the parts I have now, and it's relatively straightforward. Although the replacement handle is made from the same flimsy plastic, one of them will break again at some point, but hopefully it will last longer than the previous one. Although I do recommend this as a replacement, I personally would never buy another Glacier Bay toilet or product if I had to get a new one. You get what you pay for in this case.

As if it were new
5/5

The fact that it is like original equipment led me to give it five stars It's sad that everything is made out of plastic, but I am lucky to have a son who can figure it To complete the task, he took an hour. We had to remove everything from inside the toilet top (including all of the guts) to change only Breakage of the handle caused the handle to fall. Aside from finding what was needed, the search was also successful. It seemed that several large stores did not have and were not able to locate these. (I think they just wanted to sell In any case, hopefully they will last for another 20 years or so.

It is inexpensive
3/5

Replaces the toilet flush tube on a glacier bay toilet for a low price. It is cheap in the sense that the handle is fragile and loose fitting, which will cause it to fall off and This does not come with installation instructions as it is not a glacier bay toilet but there are no instructions The price of cheap quality is very low. Most likely it would be easier to replace the toilet, so irritating that a handle breaks and it is impossible to acquire a replacement. I had a similar experience with a glacier bay medicine cabinet the hinges wore out and were incompatible with replacements.

There were only a few handles to be had
3/5

All I really needed for my Glacier Bay toilet was a new handle to replace the original. Even though this handle works great, you still need to glue it and double back tape it to stay in place. I used a drop of glue to hold the handle onto the matching parts, even when testing the fit on those that came with it. The handle is quite loose with no set screw or anything to hold it on. The handle would be great if they just sold it for a few bucks, then I wouldn't have to throw everything away.

It gets the job done
4/5

Our toilet breaks regularly, so these are the replacement handles we needed when ours blew out! They feel and look very cheap, but they work great! On the island of Maui, this book is difficult to find, but here on Amazon, it is available. It was easy to install (one need only add silicone caulking to prevent it from slipping).

If Home Depot tells you this is not a fix, don't believe it! We did not expect this since the Home Depot guys told us that there was no fix for this type of toilet handle
4/5

In their opinion, I was going to have to have the whole toilet replaced. It was easy to use (it loses a star because there are I have provided a fair warning There is a difference between the two clips. To slip the handle into the longer clip, the handle is longer than the shorter clip. Initially, I didn't notice. (Tip 2 If you don't notice, repeat the last step. Taking the inner bowl completely out is the best option. This is easy to do and saves you the hassle of trying to get the old clips out again. 2) Was easy to replace and saved me a lot.
