When using these in t slots, what type of nuts are you using?

A quarter - Seventeen Hex nuts (with a 7/16" Approximately 1 side (top) of the nut has rounded "dome" similar to that of a "self or nylon lock nut.". You can find Lock Nuts on Amazon by searching. No plastic or nylon insert appears to be present in these nuts (they do not appear to be "true" lock nuts). Unless the nut style is critical, the thread size should be 1/4" - 3/8" Hardware or auto parts stores carry threads with a diameter of 20 threads per inch.

There is a nice feature of the flat push nuts to keep the bolts from dropping into the black water tank, which they would in a Casita, unless somehow protected.

The flange of the toilet is too small for the item

There is no way they can grab the toilet flange with their small ends. Eventually, I had to use the ones that were already there and had slightly bigger ends because the ones I bought today spun when I tried to attach the nuts.
