It's well-built and keeps you warm for a long time. I didn't read the description carefully and bought it based on the picture in the advertisement. My blunder, but I mistook the heating element for a longer one. I calculated the length by adding the lead cord and the heating element to the picture. I should have bought the one that was a little longer.
I've been using these wraps on my water line for 15 years as a full-time RVer. I've never had an issue with hoses freezing.
I had to replace all of the hoses, tape, and insulation. Thank you, everything is working fine again, and it was a good buy.
I was going to use it on my motorhome but will return it because the instructions stated that it should not be used on pex pipe. It appears to be well-made, and the instructions are well-written.
Installing it was a breeze.
