Questions & Answers

Is it okay to use this with my 900 watt space heater? Please accept my gratitude. ?

The description claims 1625 watts, but that is a bit high; a safer number is 1500 watts, which is more than enough for your heater.

Is it capable of withstanding temperatures of at least 105 degrees Fahrenheit? Is it possible to get 1500 watts of power from a 120 volt system ?

The cord is marked 105c, and the item description claims that it can handle 1625 watts.

What are the required degrees and volts?

The voltage is standard 110/120 volts, but the temperature is unknown.

Are you looking for a space heater extension cord? Is this something that will help it?

Because it's a heavy-duty one, this should suffice. I bought it to use as a computer security monitor in my office.

Not at all what they said
3/5

Despite the fact that it is rated for heaters, this product is NOT! If used for more than an hour, the cord becomes extremely hot to the touch, posing a fire hazard. I recommend getting a 10 gauge extension cord, which you can get on Amazon as well. br>The only reason I didn't give it a one-star rating is that I can use it for lower-wattage appliances like radios, TVs, lamps, and stand fans. br>br>I strongly advise against using this for high-wattage appliances, especially space heaters. I recommend getting a 12 gauge three prong extension cord for room air conditioners, which you can also get on Amazon. br>br>PS: If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "cre When it comes to power cords, the lower the number, the better. For heaters and air conditioners, at least 12 gauge is recommended, but 10 gauge is preferable. Both can be found on Amazon.

There is a risk of fire! This extension cord was purchased to connect my 1500 watt heater to the outlet
3/5

I figured it wouldn't be an issue because this cord is rated at 1625 watts. Unfortunately, when I use the extension cord with my heater, the plug gets red hot and emits a burning odor. There is no doubt that if I left the heater on with this extension cord, a fire would result! This extension cord is not safe to use with heaters or irons for extended periods of time!!.

Irons and heaters will be replaced by a rubbery cord
5/5

I removed the female end and used it to fix a space heater - This was the most important item, as well as the one that lasted the longest. Everything went smoothly. It's the rubbery, high-temperature (90°C) stuff that's difficult to come by. This isn't your ordinary zip tie.

The temperature rating is 90 degrees Fahrenheit, not 105 degrees Fahrenheit
3/5

Despite the fact that the item number (HC100608) is identical, the cord ratings are not the same as those listed here. The following are the ratings found on both the cardboard wrapper and the holographic UL sticker: br>br>15A/125Wbr>1875Wbr>16/2 AWGbr>HPNbr>br>The temperature rating on the cord itself is only 90 degrees (rather than the 105 degrees that I expected). Not a big deal, but I bought this cable for the higher temperature rating. For items like this, I wish Amazon were less of a gamble. br>br>In my case, the plug is polarized. br>br>Manufactured in Indonesia.

As a laptop charger cable extender, this product is fantastic
5/5

I used it as an extension for my wife's Yoga 900 laptop, which came with a 5-foot USB pod that plugs into the wall. The charging process was a pain. This extends it by 8', allowing the charger pod to sit on the floor while she works on her laptop. br>br>Finding a 2-bedroom apartment is difficult. single-strand wire the extension cord should be cut.

I'd been looking for something like this
5/5

However, there was no mention of the application on the label. When the female end of this cord is carefully reduced in size with a razor knife, it fits perfectly to power my vintage TEAC A-100 computer. Tape recorder with a capacity of 1500 units (U). br>br>It was discontinued so long ago that looking for an authentic cord would be a waste of time-- This appears rigged, it has more current capacity than the original, and it was simple to modify.

It's possible that this will cause your home to catch fire
3/5

I completely agree with the first one-star reviewer's assessment. They were on the verge of burning down my house. The cord melted, as did the appliance cord that was attached to it. When used with a thermostatically controlled heater, the amps and watts are significantly lower than the rated values.

Heavy Duty Heater Cord: This cord is of excellent workmanship and performs admirably; it is longer than most of its kind and can safely carry a high-wattage toaster oven
5/5

It meets my expectations.
