"The difference in the two models is that the P5231 has an upgraded blade clamp," according to a response from "Riyobi Tool Team" on the HD website, but "Community Answer" claims, for what it's worth, that the P523 "is more powerful and yellow as opposed to blue."
Yes. This tool is compatible with any Ryobi 18V lithium ion battery. The P108 is rated at a four out of five stars. The standard Ryobi connector design is used on this 0AH battery. By the way, the saw is fantastic. This is all the Sabre Saw you'll ever need if you're a homeowner who won't be using it on a job site all day every day.
Yes, you can tilt the base.
So long as it's a Ryobi 18v battery.

Instead of staring at it lovingly, I decided to use it. It had an effect. This was more satisfying than simply ordering and receiving it.
The tool had a bevel of about 2 or 3 degrees. The 0-notches are a pair of notches on either side of the 0-notches The correct position of the degree bevel on the base was locked in. I attempted three times and received a straight cut each time; I, on the other hand, was always assigned a 2 or 3 star rating. bevel of a certain degree I had no choice but to return the tool. br>br>So, why three stars instead of a grumpy one? star? Well, Ryobi is a good brand, and I've had good luck with them in the past, so I believe this is a "one-off" and not a reflection on the brand or seller. Unexpected things occur. Furthermore, despite the fact that the tool was not listed as Prime, the seller was very prompt in delivering it, and the return process was simple, with my money being refunded the same day. Yes, this is excellent customer service. stars.
Amazon took down my original review, citing their guidelines as the reason. As a result, you can guess what I was attempting to convey. Here's what I had to say about it: br>The item isn't particularly good. br>Amazon, this is your move.
I'm a big fan of Ryobi tools, and this jigsaw is one of my favorites. This is a powerful, sturdy, quick-cutting, and user-friendly tool. Variable speeds and orbital cutting action appeal to me. I haven't used the blade saver feature yet, but it appears to be a good idea for extending blade life. I'm switching all of my tools to cordless, and Ryobi appears to be the best value.
I'll never be as harsh on this tool in 30 years as the journey it took to reach me was. The box appeared to have fought in three wars and lost them all. The jigsaw, on the other hand, was in perfect working order. I'm very happy with the quality, as I have been with all of the Ryobi 18V One tools I've ordered so far (10 in total). The blade(s) are the only disadvantage. I couldn't use any of my U blades, and the saw only came with one, so I had to purchase a T-blade set. blades- Moreover, Amazon does not stock Ryobi jigsaw blades for some reason.
As a result, my B After my D jigsaw died, I purchased the Ryobi One P5231 Orbital 3,000 SPM Jigsaw. It arrived on time (thank you, MAINUS), and the quality is even better than I had hoped for. I really like how the orbital stroke and speed can both be adjusted. (On the back stroke, the blade pulls back slightly. )br> The blade holder for changing blades is simple to use and secure.
I am a huge fan of Ryobi products. I've never done a jigsaw before, so I'm not sure how this one stacks up against others, but it was simple enough for a novice like me. When the trigger is pulled and the saw is turned on, there is a light that illuminates your guidelines, which is extremely helpful. When cutting a sharp corner, the speed selector switch comes in handy for slowing down the speed. The only "con" is that this saw uses a lot of battery power, but since I have a spair, this was not an issue for me.
I bought this to fit cuts on composite wood panels for a deck resurfacing project after cutting some with my aeons-style saw. I had an old corded Saber saw, but it was inconvenient and slow. I installed a blade and a battery, and it not only cut faster, but it also cut better than the Saber saw. I'd be able to do it- A thin blade is used to make angle turns. It makes a clean cut. Inserting and removing the blades is simple. I used it intermittently for two days before the battery needed to be replaced. This is a fantastic puzzle!.
