Questions & Answers

There is an 18 Volt charger in my possession. This charger fits this 20 volt battery, will it charge it?

No, it doesn't seem to be the case. Though you may want to upgrade to the 20v lithium pack if you can. The drill, impact driver, two batteries and charger are available from Lowes, as well as a bag in which to carry everything. The 189 dollars are what I bought after my son the Contractor told me to do so. Afterwards, I added this saw and I can tell you, it is as bad as it gets.

Is it necessary to recharge the battery for a long time?

A battery is made up of two cells, so one is charged at all times. I don't need much time to do it There is always a spare battery available for charging before the main battery runs down.

A nicd 18 v battery has been given to me. What about this saw? Will it work?

There is only one type of battery that works with this device. Using batteries that are 20 volts.

Could you give me an example of a similar battery?

To operate it you will need a Porter Cable 20V MAX battery, either the 1 or the 2. (3 black amph as well as one white amph). There are 5 amph (most commonly encountered), 2 amph, and 3 amph. You can use either the 4 or 0 (only with a hammer drill). The wind speed is 0 mph.

A pregnant woman who is upset and a reciprocating saw that breaks the branches = One shrub destroyed
5/5

Since the day we moved in to our house, my wife has been determined to get rid of this ridiculous shrub in our backyard. My wife sends me a photo of a huge pile of branches while I'm at work. By the way, she is nine months pregnant! The pregnant spouse saw the Porter cable 20 V Max saw all come into the house and decided that the shrub in our backyard needed to be destroyed. . . Needless to say, there is no shrub in our backyard anymore. My saw did a superb job of destroying the shrub, and I am delighted with the results. You'll be able to operate this thing if my pregnant wife, who is nine months pregnant,.

A great deal can be achieved in a small area- The following packages are available in English
5/5

While I am not a professional, I have used a variety of other sawzalls such as a Dewalt 20v and a Milwaukee Super Sawzall, plug-in As my only other PC tools are (thankfully) 2 other PC programs, I was hesitant to purchase this one. There is no doubt that both the Dewalt and Mil saws are great, and I had excellent results with As far as price is concerned, neither of them is reasonable for the job at hand. The Dewalt tools are becoming less and less appealing to me, as there are a variety of great, lower priced alternatives appearing, and I really like Mil saws, but a sawzall is surely not one of my every day tools. As a result, the premium is not worth it. The PC tool is exceedingly good at what it does. I was pleasantly surprised. This tool is light enough for one hand operation, and powerful enough to cut through most materials with little effort. I used it for my first outing to cut roughly 30 or so branches ranging from 1 to 3 inches tall The diameter of the product was 3 inches, and the motor never skipped a beat. In addition to 2 Despite a larger battery size, the battery (of the larger model) did not show any signs of draining or overheating after 3 hours of continuous use. There is a short cutting length so it can't cut as fast as some of the others, and you can't rotate the chuck like on the Dewalt, so you lose some flexibility, but it's more than made up for in weight savings and sheer maneuverability. There are admittedly some signs of adolescence in the design In reality, it is actually quite thoughtful, even if it looks like a transformer. There is a lot of no-mark rubber in the right places. There is even a little hole in the top so you can sling it if there is a problem. The dewalt is an excellent choice if you don't need to have the hardcore build quality of the Mil or the versatility of the DeWalt.

Despite the amount of cutting I've done, it is still cutting well. The sound is loud and vibrates pretty much all the time, but it does its job nicely, and the price is right, not overpriced like the DW
MW MK. My rating is dropping from four to two because after a year the item started getting hot and smelly. Also, the next time I tried to use the item it did not work. Although I could get it to run, it would slow down or stop after a short while. The product didn't last long enough even for the cheap price, and I threw it away.

It is fast and clean as well as powerful

There are not enough words to describe how much I appreciate this tool! Prior to this, I had purchased a Porter Cable drill/driver that came with two 20-mm There are two different lithium batteries, each rated at 10 volts. In order to save on costs, I chose the bare tool (without batteries) since those batteries are also required for the reciprocating saw. The fact that the batteries can be kept in the charger all the time (at least, one at a time) is perfect to me. This saves you from having to power cycle the batteries like you do with NiCd. My neighbor's 25-foot pine tree was blown down by severe winds less than a week after it arrived. My yard was almost entirely covered with it. I attached a custom tree branch cutting (pruning) blade to my Porter Cable reciprocating saw to remove it. In order to make the blade, the end of half of a manual pruning saw blade was ground into the shape needed for mounting it to the saw and a hole was drilled near the end for locking it into place. My heavy leather gloves protected me as I pulled on the blade to ensure it was secure before attaching a battery to test it. Wear eye protection if you wish to do so! went to a box store and bought a generic reciprocating saw blade that was not as sharp and irregular as my homemade one and twice the price of a new blade for the manual pruning saw. With branches up to 8 feet in length, this pine tree used to be healthy and full of branches. There were two more spots where the trunk needed to be sawed through so the large pieces could be carried On one battery, I used all of it while on the second battery I used most of it. Considering the amount of sawing involved, these results aren't bad at all! A powerful and fast saw for its weight, this one is surprisingly powerful and hard to stop once it gets started. It was much easier than using a smelly, noisy gasoline chain saw or a corded electric chainsaw with its long extension cord. I had a very heavy black and decker sawzall that didn't work any better than this lightweight Porter Cable Additionally, you do not have to carry a hex tool to loosen and tighten the blades like it is necessary with the B&D Almost all were corded The blade can be firmly held in place via a twisting collar that snaps back into place. Everything from my homemade blade to my homemade knife!.

Using this product for heavy or contractor grade work is not recommended
4/5

The brushless drill I reviewed is similar to this one. My intent was to use it for light duty. So far, it seems to be working Most of these PC power tools are made of plastic, so if you drop them or use them a lot, you may be disappointed with them. When pruning trees branches on one job, I noticed it was getting hot and kinda knew how far I could I did, however, learn that Sawzall performs well and is intended for a variety of uses by reading reviews on and off Amazon sites. There are multiple PC power tools and plastic design in my collection, as well as maybe moderate to light use usually. that in the majority of cases, "good" means cheap or low price, but that doesn't always mean good quality and long life.

It's a nice, cheap, but good tool
3/5

I was torn between giving it a 3 or a 4. This is, in my opinion, a good tool in most instances. Blades can be changed quickly and easily without using a tool. If the right blade is used, this tool is powerful enough to cut through hardened steel bolts as well as 6 inch diameter branches without any trouble. As far as what I can see, the blade is a bit sloppy in the tool, which is why I didn't give it a higher grade.
