The variable speed does not work, which is a huge disappointment. I have to use it for work tomorrow or I'll have to return it. I'd leave a video, but you're asking for access to my files and photos, which I won't give you. You should be able to download a video without having to deal with all of that access crap.
The foot vibrated loose when I used it, so I only gave it a 4 star overall rating. It's simple to re-create this. tighten. Aside from that, it appears to be a decent Jig saw.
For the money, there are better options, and I'm not a big fan of this model. There is only one blade included with it. The blade is not surrounded by a fence. Worst of all, there is no exhaust vent, so dust is all over the place. If you use this tool, make sure you have fitted goggles and a respirator on.
This Jig Saw is not to be purchased. During sawing, the blade keeps popping off. It was tested by two different people to ensure its quality, and both agreed that it is of poor quality. I bought it because of the low price, but I should have gotten a Dewalt instead because of the quality. This item will be returned to you.
It's been about 8 months since I bought it, and the motor gears that cause the blade to reciprocate are worn out. It's only been used about 20 to 30 times in total. Make sure you don't throw your money away.
Great saw that is simple to use and replace blades on. I'm hoping it will last as long as my old one, which is 25 years old and still going strong. I just can't seem to locate blades for the old one.
I needed a saw to cut wood, and this one comes in handy. It's well-made and sturdy.
This was used to easily cut notches in wood for a water bed support.
