Air fittings and sanding pads are included with this sander. It's sturdy and of good quality.
I'm a big fan of what you've done so far. This little da sander appears to be quite powerful, has a solid build, and performs admirably. This will be used to restore a 93 Silverado that is in desperate need of a repaint. I only gave it a few spins, but it appears to be sturdy, and as long as nothing breaks, I'm confident this thing will last a long time. It was simple to assemble and use, and it even came with some sanding discs. br>br>The only problem I had was that the button got stuck once and kept spinning. I haven't been able to duplicate it, so it could have been a one-time occurrence. I'd just be careful not to put it down while it's still spinning, as you should with any power tool. br>br>This was exactly what I needed, and I'm very pleased with it. I'm powering it with a 60 gallon air compressor, so I'll be able to keep it spinning all day. If you have a smaller compressor, I strongly advise you to invest in some high-flow air couplings; they will significantly improve your setup. br>br>Based on my limited experience with this tool, I would recommend it to any shop.
For the past 20 years, I've worked at a high-end body shop. On the floor, there were two different types of random orbit air driven sanders. One was a side handle DA, and the other was a paddle type that sat directly on top of the sander. You could concentrate on keeping the sander flat, rather than digging grooves or valleys in your work, with this paddle type. That's not to say the DA side handle/arm couldn't do it; it just couldn't do it as well. br>The crazy thing about this sander is the price; the popular sanders on the market cost many times as much, so I knew I had to take a chance, and I'm glad I did. It glides over the surface. Before each use, make sure to lubricate it with a few drops of air tool oil. Another option is to put a few drops of oil in it after you've finished using it and run it through a few times so the internals are soaked in oil and it's ready to use again. Overall, even if you already own something similar, this is a great spare.
This is something I've been using a lot. br>I sanded the legs of my end table (that was my experiment, let's see how it goes)br>now I'm working on some cabinets. br>I'm using the compressor in my garage (it's a big craftsman) and it just won't shut off. br>It took me a while to figure it out, but now that I have, I'm happy with it. I'm really enjoying it. br>I can see where people might need more sanders (the ones with the points), but this is fantastic! br>easy to put together br>easy to clean br>this girl is overjoyed.
This sander performs admirably (at 90 PSI with a 10 CFM compressor). The grip is comfortable, and the vibrations through the palm aren't too bad. The following items are included in the box: br>br>
- - Sanderbr> 240 grit sandpaper (ten pieces)br> a quarter-inch air connectorbr>- Wrench (though the size I received is too small for the sander). No big deal)br>br>Recommendable.
