Depending on what I see on my sander, either steel or aluminum is used. Right now, I do not have access to it because I loaned it out.
65 hp is what I would have assumed if I had read it. As far as I'm concerned, 90 psi would be ideal

Specifically, this is a problem that occurs with this application. During the process of replacing the top wheel, something hot melts into the bearings and then the sander gets stuck. There is a hard time finding replacement wheels that will solve your.
The tool itself is okay. This wheel did not have any rubber on it for the front, and it would be better if it did. There is nothing more to it than this. There were three belt welds that were destroyed by it. In response to my call, 3 M wouldn't assist me in any way. The customer service representative told me to return it to Amazon. Even after I requested a transfer to an insurance claim department, they wouldn't do it. They did not give me good customer service, even though 3M is normally a top-notch company. However, they did not back up their product in any way. For 20 dollars more, I had to buy a replacement wheel.
It is very poorly built and not worth the price. I have only used it twice so far and it has failed. There is no comparison between this and the Dynabrade.
There was a small cover on the bottom that covers where you install the new belt. I was wondering if I would need a torx wrench or something to unfasten it to access the area where you install the new belt. There's no such thing as that. You can easily open or close the protective housing with a knob that you twist with your hand. It is a tool that will not disappoint you.
It works great much better than the old, version which cost nearly 500 dollars and held up well for me. I use this tool daily as a body tech so it holds up well and works great.
In comparison with other brands, Sander uses an excess amount of expensive belts. In addition, it uses a belt for every spot weld, which is outrageous. One of the roller bearings on the end of the arm failed after only one After contacting 3m for a refund, I have not heard back.
