The PS8016 is the only stapler I have owned so I cannot compare it to anything else with the exception of being slightly smaller than all of the ones I've owned previously. I just love how it works, and works so well too. If I add a drop of air to my mixture- Never had a problem with it since I applied oil to it before each use. My primary use is to replace a convertible top on a '67 Mustang, as can be seen from the photo.
Since then, it has worked like a charm. In the beginning, the plunger would stick, and I did not think I had made a good purchase. There are times when it misses a staple here or there, but after a few triggers it returns to its usual state. I think it's a very good product and I.
With ease, this very powerful stapler drives half inch long staples into very hard plywood. As there's no bump safety in the way of sight, I like the fact that I can see where the staple goes when fired. This gun shoots accurately quickly and easily without jams, is easy to load, and is light in.

I shot at least 5000 staples through it without a hitch, and it worked like a charm.
