Questions & Answers

Reupholstering chairs with a groove that is 1/4 inch wide and 3/8 inch deep is what I am doing. Is it possible to use the nose of this stapler ?

You will not be able to use it. You are advised that MT7116LN will work with 3/8" to 1/4" hole sizes It has a 3/4-inch crown and a 3/16-inch to 5-inch depth.

The top cap on ours is usually plastic. Do you prefer to use it for hammers?

Metal is used for the top cap.

There is a goodly supply of T50 in my possession The stapler in my current setup uses 1 1/4" staples. Does this stapler support the use of these staples?

To use this Meite stapler you must use the staples specified, in this case the 22 gauge 71 series 3/8, 1/2, or 5/8 - these are the only staples it calls for. The length of an inch. As a result, I can say with certainty it will not take 1 1/4", and I think the T50's are too thin and wide to be able to take the length. Pneumatic staplers will not fit traditional staples used in mechanical staplers. Most, if not all, professional pneumatic staplers use pneumatic staples. It's mostly a difference in the wire staples pneumatic staplers use finer gauge wire staples, while mechanical staples are thicker and more powerful.

What is the material of the driving piston? Is it plastic, ceramic, ?

Metal is what it is. As well as selling its piston on Amazon, we offer its driving piston. You can search for its ASIN by doing the following

For upholstery projects, this is the absolute best tool I have ever purchased (aside from my DeWalt Rotary Sander)
5/5

My gosh, what a surprise! When you use a pneumatic staple gun for upholstery, you can save time and increase accuracy. Since there were no ratings on it, I took a chance when I purchased this one. It's beyond compare how thrilled I am! It is the first time I have ever used a pneumatic staple gun and I have to say that IT SAVED There is no way I will ever use an old stapler again. I have them packed up and ready to be donated to someone else who is in need. The upholstery job was the first large job I ever did. Having learned this by the way I have done, I have absolutely no training in this area. As soon as I had stripped it down to its bare wooden frame, I had to build it back up. desperately trying to staple with a manual stapler for hours upon hours, I gave up and purchased this one. This is amazing! It's amazing how much difference there is. Using the 2 - in. nose, I was able to easily reach places that were impossible before. During the staple placement I could move very fast along the staple line, and the staples came in snugly Despite its well-made construction, the gun is capable of being slightly roughed up if need be. With a good grip and a very easy staple reloading system, this stapler feels nice in the hand and is easy to use. As well, the company was kind enough to inform me that I had ordered the wrong staple after separating the staple order from the rest of my order. As soon as I figured out the order error for the staples, I was able to return them for a full refund. Please be careful when ordering products because I ordered staple gun parts based on the information on the side of the staple gun, which instructed me to order 22GA The staples are divided into two series. If you purchase this gun, be sure to get the right series (71). It would be highly recommended. I have included pictures of how I used this item on the project below.

A BEA costs three times as much as a BE? While taking my first upholstering class at City College of San Francisco, I fell in love with the BEA long nose upholstery stapler
5/5

It is my teacher's, Simon, policy to always keep his 20 odd staplers in the class tool cabinet, which are all BEA staplers. He feels they are the best staplers he has used in the 30 years that he has been in It was a bit beyond my reach to buy one when I saw the BEA brand was priced at almost $300, even after discount on Ebay. After being discouraged, I went on the hunt for a comparable stapler, which I found on sale for $90 with the Meite MT7116LN. Unlike the BEA, the Meite is built the same way in every detail. This stapler uses the same staples that we were using in class, so I could bring my own stapler without having to bring extra staples. It also has the same trigger, same head (Though the nose of the Miete is a little narrower), and same grip handles. I was immediately impressed with it the first time I used it. With the long, narrow nose of the stapler, I could reach places I found difficult in the past, and I could easily fire off volleys of staples without jamming. Three semesters have passed since that day, and the Miete has never let me down. The stapler I had sold to my fellow students was tried out by three of them. They purchased their own staplers. We're four people who don't have to get in a fight over the one and only BEA stapler at A craftsman from the Soviet Union wants to be an old Russian craftsman It is quite a compliment when it comes to Ukraine's era.

The best longnose I have ever had
5/5

My experience as an upholsterer spans over 50 years and I have used both standard and longnose staple guns.
I bought a longnose gun a few months ago and it was terrible. This staple gun boasts a very sleek design, plus the end of the nose is very tapered, which is exactly what you need if you want to reach tight inside corners. You can do it on cornice boards when you line them. Quite a bit of peace and quiet here. When firing, the hand feels nice and there is no kick back. It doesn't matter whether you're a novice or professional. As well as a regular nose gun, I'm going to buy one from them. Thank you for a great product and of course, for the fast delivery from Amazon. It is on my wish list.

THIS IS NOT A GOOD ITEM TO BUY
3/5

A repair would cost over $100, so he told me I had to mail it in for service. Since I am an avid DIYer and I do not use it very often, I thought it would last for a longer period of time. The one you are looking for has been available for a while now but keep looking because this is it.

I made the best investment I have ever made with 99 bucks free shipping
5/5

I have worked in the upholstering business for over 50 years. Over the years I have used BEA, Senco, Fasco, and a few other off brands. Now that I am getting close to retiring I wanted to save money by not purchasing a long nose gun. I made the best investment I could have made when I bought 99 bucks free shipping. I highly recommend it.

This fabric is perfect In addition to upholstery, my wife works with a staple gun and has been doing this work for over 30 years
5/5

Eventually, she moved on to an electric staple gun, and now she has The stapler has so far been a huge hit with her! Due to the long nose of the stapler, it is easy to reach tight spaces and the ability to use multiple staples at one time shortens the time needed to complete jobs. However, she isn't too pleased with the fact that there is no sight glass or any other way to tell when you are low on staples which seems counterproductive since it says in the instructions to not let it run out!.

This staple gun has a user-friendly design and is awesome
5/5

The pneumatic long nose air gun we purchased was the result of many weeks of searching. Upholstered eight dining chairs with this material. I am happy to report that it worked quite well! This printer was very easy to use, did not jam, and did not require staples. I would recommend it.

There is a problem with this A pulley is pulled I bought it a year and a half Sadly, I was unable to use it then and do not have the opportunity to It remained in the workshop in a box
3/5

Christmas was fun this year. However, we soon discovered that this is not the case, simply because the pulley don't work, which means the stables don't move forward. Hammer works fine, but since there's no pressure from behind to push the stables forward, it is.
