There are both large and small compressors that I use. For example, a pin nailer is small but powerful. I find them both to be quite effective. In the document, it says a PSI of 90 should be the minimum. There's nothing fancy about it, but it does the job.
Worked quite well on a standard card board box with at least three layers. In order to staple the box, I built a box to place it over. There is some rubber matting with 1/2 inch "fingers" along the top which I screwed on. This will give the staples a solid foundation upon which to adhere.

You can't go wrong with this carton closer. I like the feel of it, and it is well made with a good adjustment system. The steel can be used in a warehouse every day if it is kept oil.
