The misleading information alone was enough for me to give this stapler a one-star rating. Listed below are some of the reasons I needed a long nose stapler as soon as possible because I was in a pinch. The stapler in question does what it's supposed to do. Due to the fact that the stapler actually takes a staple width that is slightly smaller than 3/8", I will be returning it. As it is, the staples are of very poor quality, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy more from the manufacturer if they were heavy duty. When I disassembled the device, I found a worse problem - the tongue seems to retract in 99% of the cases. One of my biggest problems was that this tongue cut straight through my Artic vinyl, so I had no way of covering an ATV seat with it. Despite cutting at 60psi and lower, it still managed to cut 100% clean through. When you go low, the tongue cannot pull back enough to allow it to recoil. That is the opinion of this M Engineer. The solution I came up with was to take off the front and use the belt sander to cut the tongue down by 3/32". As a result, I raised the pressure to 60 psi. I think it worked just fine. This time around, though, it is likely not to drive the staples nearly as deep as desired in oak or other hard woods. Despite my ATV's plastic seat frame, it was very comfortable.

Purchasing this item was to tack wires to the back of a pinball playfield, hence the long nose is an important feature. I was able to get the compressor to work when I fine tuned the pressure. The stapler is very easy to use, not too loud, and seems to drive staples in precisely at I look forward to using it on other projects in the future.

This stapler's best feature is the long nose, which is great for reaching tight spaces. Another advantage of this style is the fact that it comes with 3 small boxes of staples of different sizes, which I could use right away (because the staples I had were too small). The fact that it was delivered in a timely manner was also appealing. As a DIYer, I do not have professional upholstery skills, but if you are looking for an air staple gun with a long nose, I recommend this stapler.

I like the size and the balance of the unit, and I can easily load it. I shot fewer than 10 staples in the first sample, and the attempt failed. Reloading next staple is not possible unless the hammer is fully retractable. The staple gun can only shoot one staple before it needs to be opened and the hammer needs to be pushed in physically.
