I haven't done any of that. However, it appears to me that it should work; that is, if it can go through wood, it should be able to go through canvas as well.
No, it won't.
Yes, it will happen. On a cornice board, I had 1" foam rubber, batting, and fabric, and it went through it all.
Clockwise increased the pressure, but I also discovered that I had to apply a lot of pressure on top or the staples would become stuck.

I had no choice but to use these low-quality staples and stapler. More than half of the staples I used crumpled or didn't go in at all, or a combination of the two. It tripled my work hours, causing hand and wrist stress, and my hand is now swollen and bruised as a result. The stapler and staples were terrible, so I was up all night with a throbbing hand. I experimented with various knob pressures and my own pressure while holding the stapler to see what would work best. If you want to injure yourself, waste money or time, and end up having to return it for a refund, this is the product for you. Please feel free to stay with me. If you're rational, however, you'll pass on this one and instead invest in a better one. This is where I learned my lesson.
Because I was too weak to drive U staples into the chair, I used nails to finish the job.
So - It's a good tool, but it's not heavy duty.
This would be ideal for small craft projects because the staple is released with a simple squeeze. This, on the other hand, is not the level of quality required for upholstery. The staple gun's force is insufficient, and the staples do not adhere to wood easily. The staples didn't lay flat, didn't go all the way into the wood, and were bending. This was not suitable for reupholstering a dining room chair, which does not necessitate the use of a heavy-duty gun. For my project, I was dissatisfied with this product, but I believe it would be ideal for a less demanding project or crafting.
This was simple to load and the instructions were simple to follow. It is ineffective. The staples don't go all the way in- When attempting to staple them in, half of the staples bent. I had to go over every single staple with a hammer to secure them all the way in (attempting to staple fabric to a piece of plywood). This is a very light weight "tool" that I'm not sure what it could be used for.
Maybe we got a dud, but this doesn't seem to work. Although it appears to be of high quality, it is ineffective.
Just like my staple gun, which is thirty years old. You'll have to experiment with brads and pin nails to find your mark. From the chamber's left side, brads and pins shoot out. If you aim for the center, as you would with staples, your aim will be off. br>br>Mark your spot with paint or tape once you've determined the correct position. Also, because the stapler moves a second before firing the Brad or pin, using the left hand on the stapler ensures accuracy.
I liked that it came with four different "staples," and I ended up using a different size for my project than I had planned, and it turned out great. During use, the stapler jammed a couple of times, but it was very simple to clear. I would strongly suggest it.
The only thing I don't like about this staple gun is that I can't put two strips of staples in at once; otherwise, I just finished screening in my porch and am very pleased with its performance.
