Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use this for vinyl siding?

I wouldn't do it unless the vinyl siding manufacturer expressly states that it is permitted. Because the holes in vinyl siding are elongated to allow for thermal expansion, the fasteners used must be able to fit inside them. I'm not sure if the 15/16-inch staple will fit. Stick to the installation instructions provided by the manufacturer.

7/8 crown staples are you able to do?

7/8 is not something I try. I'm using crown staples that are 15/16 inch wide.

I'm not sure how good it is

In the last year, I've purchased three of these guns. One of them has done an excellent job. 1's tongue was constantly jamming, but he was able to free it. I shot three staples and gave up because I couldn't get it to work again.

It's simple to use and withstands the test of time. After buying a cheap no-name brand that started to fall apart after a few uses, I switched to this one, which is still going strong. Hitachi is a well-known manufacturer of high-quality products. Drills and impact drivers are among the other tools available. Everything seems to be in order.

The staples are easy to use, but in quantities less than 10,000 per box, they are difficult to come by. br>I found some in 5000 per box at Home Depot, but they were out of stock. All lowes orders must be placed online, which means that if you need several different leg lengths, you could end up with 100,000 staples if you're a do-it-yourselfer.
