Despite the fact that I believe the drill is covered for 5 years, the chuck which is the main part of the drill does not have any coverage. I have a problem with that!

Our first task (and only task so far) was to drill through about 14 inches of wall made of concrete, block and stone with a 14mm concrete drill bit. I found it to be very helpful. So far I have been using a Bosch corded hammer drill, and I had anticipated the drilling to take significantly longer than it did. In addition to what I stated above It wasn't one of my favorite power tools for a long time, but from past experiences with other tools, I can say this is remarkably good.
What a marvel. After using for the first time, I am extremely impressed. Also, I have the Milwaukee 2704 brushless hammer drill and it gives me the same kind of results. It took me more than five minutes while dangling from the end of a rope to drill a 1/2" by 6" hole with the 2704 while drilling through hard limestone. The same hole was drilled faster and more efficiently with the 2712 ROTARY hammer drill (same marble, same drilling bits for both), taking less than one minute. In the end, the 2704 was done using a 3 after seven holes. Batteries with a capacity of 0 amps. It took the battery 20+ holes to bore the 2712 with the same size battery. We are glad that the M18 Fuel drills can use the same batteries as the M18 power drills. This is amazing! The product is absolutely stunning and the power is amazing! It's a great tool for removing old shower tiles, and it works just as well as I expected. It does the job very quickly and is very easy to use.
With this tool, I removed tile and mortar from a kitchen and master bathroom as well as the master shower and bathroom floor. The demolition tool endured all the abuse of demolition and asked for more. I used a chisel bit to chew up the tile mortar bed and chicken wire. The Milwaukee fuel line is all I use for my cordless tools.
Using a Milwaukee cordless drill and concrete bit, I attempted to drill into concrete but the result was not good. This SDS plus rotary hammer drill is very clean and easy to use once you have the right bit in it. It cuts through concrete like it is wood. It took me awhile to realize that I would need an SDS Plus bit for this drill. It is impossible to use a regular drill bit.
