Do you get a hard case with it?

There is no case included with the basic tool. Be sure to check what is included with the order as some items may or may not include a case, battery, charger, etc. In my case, I spent less than the cost of just the drill because it came with the case, charger, and battery. The item was sold as reconditioned, but it was brand new, without a mark or scratch. It must have been an item that was opened. The reconditioned tools that I have purchased from Amazon have all been in " like new " condition and have a full factory warranty. I also saved a lot of money with these tools.

A brute in every sense of the word

Upon picking up this tool, it is clear you are holding a tool of considerable knowledge and capability. You will be able to confirm all of that when you use it. Over the years, I have had nothing but good experiences with Bosch tools (I am a professional woodworker, who also operates an automobile repair shop). In my previous career as an engineer and executive I was able to tour their Research and Development facility. Many other facilities exist in Stuttgart, such as a D center. have a great deal of experience with Bosch products, and I know they are excellent products. As far as Bosch "Genuine Reconditioned" products are concerned, I have had the similar experience. This is a cost-saving measure I take every time I can, because I have never had one fail. This is a highly recommended book!.
