iRobot Authentic Replacement Parts- 800 and 900 Series AeroForce High-Efficiency Filters (3-Pack)

Updated on March 21: I rinsed these (both sides) with super hot water until the water ran clear (it will be very dirty for a while). I then banged them against the sink a few times to loosen any remaining debris after flushing them thoroughly. Rinse thoroughly until both sides of the water are clear. Allow to air dry before reusing. I've been doing this for a few months and have had great results; rotating them as you go through the cycle also helps. br>br>Original post:br>Yes, these are pricey, but I've read far too many negative reviews on knockoff versions. We all paid a lot of money for our iRobots, so don't waste your money on knockoff filters. If you do your homework, I believe you will reach the same conclusion as I did. PS - I'm washing these right now to see if I can reuse them and extend their life; I'll post an update later.

We use our iRobot quite a bit as dog owners. However, it only works with clean filters, which means they must be changed frequently. New filters are required, and they are costly for what they are worth. So far, I'm pleased with the product, and the filters have done their job admirably. The price is the only thing that bothers me.

Amazon is great for a lot of things, but I go straight to irobot for these. com. Do not use your filters if one side has a fine mesh screen. They have the potential to harm your robot. In terms of appearance and feel, both sides of the filter should be the same.

These are more expensive, but they are more effective than the knockoffs available on Amazon. Both of these methods have been employed by me. My iRobot will not beep for me to change the filter as long as the authentic filters are used. Even after cleaning the dust bin and filter, the bin was always full when I used the phony ones I bought on Amazon. I've had my iRobot for over a year and use it every day.

This time, I went out and bought the genuine article, and our roomba was greeted with the genuine article. We didn't realize we'd have to replace the pieces so frequently or that they were so costly until we got the knockoffs (8 of them, I believe) and they lasted about a month on average. Every other day, three times. On each of the house's floors, once. To judge the difference, my husband suggested that I try the legitimate ones. Do you want to start right away? I got three for $20 instead of eight for $16, which was four times the price. I noticed that the cheap ones have a fabric covering on the intake side, which severely restricts intake. It's the difference between sucking on a filter cigarette and sucking on a regular cigarette. There is no filter in place. I believe that the ability to pick up things is superior, but what about simple light pickups such as animal hair? Take the low-cost path. You'll get more bang for your buck with this lightweight option.

Be on the lookout! Rip-off of the highest order. After reading the reviews, I decided to order two different ones. What was it that I received? The same item was sent to me in a single package. Problem? The price of one set was double that of the other, which was extremely deceiving!.

I haven't had the opportunity to put them to use yet. They do, however, resemble the original that came with my Roomba 985 in appearance and feel. I was concerned that they might not be genuine, but they appear to be. br>Thank you.
