I have two of them (one for Dish Network and the other for DirecTV) - a platform that is extremely tough, stable, and portable - To provide an anchor, I place a dog spiral tieout stake in the middle and secure it with a ladder lock strap. This set offers a rock-solid foundation for mounting and aiming a satellite antenna - br>br>Additional informationbr>br>Photo 1 shows the tripod's dog tie out stake and LadderLock strap for stability - I used a LadderLock strap that was 1 inch wide and 60 inches long. The tripod legs are also shown with chains - They aid in the tripod's setup by constraining the legs. br>br>Details on the leg chain - On each side of the leg's immovable part, I used an eye loop - a 16-inch length of chain was fastened to one side - did this on all three sides - fastened two links to the other side and the free end to the end of the second link in the leg chain Then, in the center, I hooked the chains together - As you set up the tripod, this prevents the legs from straying too far. The dog tie-out stake and the LadderLock stabilizing strap are not connected by the chains - Koch Industries A17721 No. 1 was the material I used. 10 Single Jack Electro Galvanized Steel, 12 Single Jack Electro Galvanized Steel, 12 Single Jack Electro Galvanized Steel, Zinc Plated Feet - br>br>Photo 2 depicts the tripod table's underside - The mounting bolt is held in place by the centering plate and the bars that support it - To tighten the antenna support, use the phenolic four-arm knob. The dish and mount can usually be rotated for adjustment, even when the knob is tightened. br>br>Photo 3 shows the bolt under the mast that goes through the tripod table and is tightened with the phenolic four arm knobbr>br>Photo 4 shows the hole in the center of the table and the two bars under the table to which the antenna mast is fastened. br>br> This is most likely the project's most difficult aspect - It's essentially a big washing machine. There is a 2-hour time limit. a 1/2 inch hole in the tripod base's top - There are two bars beneath the base that have clearance for a 1/2 inch bolt - A plate is inserted into the hole on top of the bars to keep the bolt in the center - The dimensions are approximately 1/8 thick X 2-inches wide. 3/8 inch outside diameter, with a 1/2 inch bolt clearance hole in the center - I'm not aware of any retailer who sells such a piece - I went through a lot of trouble to find the ones I use - br>br>The satellite mount requires a mast with the proper diameter - My DirecTV mast is 2 inches in diameter, while my Dish Network mast is approximately 1 inch in diameter. 5/8 - Although it was many years ago, I don't recall ever purchasing a J-car. Antenna Mount on a Pole - The masts, I believe, belonged to the installers.
There were no images that were unstable due to a light breeze.
I used to have a cheaper version of this model. br>There is a leveling bubble on this. It gets you very close and saves you time during setup.
It is extremely popular with my husband. When it arrived, the packaging had been ripped and torn.
a formidable force Holds the laser extremely well.
I've included a 11-page document. It has a Celestron C130 telescope on it, as well as an iOptron go-to camera. to command and control A total weight of at least 13 pounds is required. It's a lot better than the old one. It attaches to a tripod controller and adjusts quickly. Put three small, inexpensive level indicators on each leg of the tripod to level it, and you've got yourself a very nice piece of equipment for a reasonable price; I'm pleased with it, and the entire setup looks very professional.
This is a well-made tripod at a reasonable price. I compared the price of another brand available at Home Depot, which was flimsy and cost a few dollars more. I got this one from Amazon and was very happy with it.
