Carbide is used in making the shims, so you will need to use all of them when you use them on 3/4 material. There is a high risk of damage to this tool. Take the time to read the instructions!

There is no real way to reverse it

However, it is not a reversible cutter. That means it does not meet the high standards of Amana. It ended up being one from Freud that I purchased for that purpose. As well as the tongue and groove cutter, I own other Amana machines which also come in handy.

New product in which reversible stacks of shaper cubes are used

I had never used that kind of shaper set before and I am very pleased with it. A one-time match was required to match existing cabinet doors on a project, and I did not want to spend more than It would cost $58 on a regular set but $100 on a special set. I had good results with these 00s.
