This is useful if you want all of our tools to work together; I have single-piece small electronics screwdrivers, so the extra 18 security bits can be used on this screwdriver as well as my preferred manual screwdriver. br>br>There are a few drawbacks, but they can be overcome. br>- When breaking glue or starting a screw (or if it's really bad), there's no locking gear, so you have to use the torque control at its highest setting, then adjust if you want to remove laptop shell screws without stripping them. br>- The button is in an odd position; unless you hold it like a stamp (the opposite of how you should hold a screwdriver), it's very awkward to hold. br>- There is only one standard Phillips head bit, and it is only for electronics; a larger one would be nice, but I had compatible bits that allowed me to easily open computer and CD drive cases. br>- large; I'm still looking for a pocket-sized precision screwdriver with adjustable torque, but this one is still small enough to fit in a bag if I can figure out how to keep the buttons from being pressed. br>- The case has no room for the kit's extra parts; For the time being, I had to move them around with the rest of my stuff.

If you want a dependable electric screwdriver, this is not the one to get. Over the last four months, I've purchased three of the same Jakemy model, and none of them are working. br>br>The first one was immediately returned to Amazon due to a crooked tip. The second lasted two months before snapping the internal driveshaft while tightening a screw to full torque. br>br>Last week, I purchased the third one, and its internal drive shaft snapped after only two minutes of use, at full torque. The motor continues to turn, but the screwdriver socket, like its deceased sibling, is no longer connected to the motor. Jakemy clearly does not know how to design a screwdriver that can withstand actual use, in my opinion.

The overall star rating is based on the most recent non-public information (November 27, 2019). I've included my thoughts on the working replacement electric screwdriver kit, as well as the discounted price ($54). At the bottom, you'll find information about the defective screwdriver. br>br>This is a review of the JM- The Y02 is a screwdriver that is powered by electricity. I'll keep the Pros and Cons brief because the top positive reviewer Matthew Carrell and the top critical reviewer Peon the Great both said exactly what I wanted to say. Keep in mind that there are some older manual screwdriver reviews on the same page, so keep that in mind. Advantages: br>br>
- Torque settings that can be adjustedbr>- a casebr>br>contrary to popular beliefbr>br>contrary to popular beliefbr>br>
- There aren't enough universal bits. One phillips bit and two slotted bits, total of 1. 5mm is the same as 000. Because of the torque that this screwdriver can generate, it can easily drive larger phillips precision screws.
- There are far too many unique elements. I wouldn't use an electric screwdriver on even the lowest torque settings on some of them because they're so small.
- The placement of the buttons. The screwdriver is held in an awkward grip as a result of this. br>br>For those who aren't familiar with the term "br>br> I would not have bought this screwdriver if it hadn't been on sale for $54 at the time of this review. If it were in the $35 range, I'd buy it, but I'd have to deal with the fact that it's missing some essential components. And if I didn't have the parts already, I'd have to pay more for a kit, bringing the total price up. br>br>Now here's the catch: I bought it anyway. I purchased this electric screwdriver when Amazon offered a 20% off offer with an additional coupon stacked on top of that bringing the price down to $15. It was much easier to try out this electric screwdriver because of the discounts.

- br>Information about the screwdriver that isn't workingbr>- br>A flat battery was included with the defective screwdriver. After a few hours of charging, the battery capacity reached the advertised 800 mAH. I didn't touch the screwdriver while waiting two days for a replacement, and when I got my replacement, I went to compare the screwdrivers, and the first one wasn't turning as fast, indicating that something is causing the battery to discharge while not in use. br>br>The Forward (CW) button didn't work. The metal frame would rub against the plastic rocker button, causing it to become stuck, causing the motor to run until you pressed the reverse end. The microswitch button on its own was useless. Although you could hear the switch make contact with something, the motor did not start spinning until you pressed harder. This is exactly the same as if you've ever had a faulty left or right mouse button. br>br>In comparison to the good replacement, the spinning end was much more wobbly. And, because it's bent to make it wobble, the RPM appears to be lower than the good replacement even when fully charged.

So, my Dell XPS had a number of problems (battery, power plug, dust overheating), and I needed to open the case. Of course, Dell chose Torx T5 screws over regular screws, so I had to purchase a set. I almost never need Torx, so I wanted the cheapest set I could find that was still good, and this one fits the bill. It's magnetic, and even the inside of the plastic case is magnetic, allowing the bits to return to their original positions. Yes, the screwdriver and case could be more durable, but at less than $9 with a coupon, I don't mind. This does the job, and I didn't have to spend more money on something I'll only use occasionally. One thing to note is that it is much smaller than it appears in the picture, but it does come with an extension, and the fact that it is light is beneficial in some ways (big/heavy would be uncomfortable to use).
