In early August 2017, I purchased and began using this pocket screwdriver. I work at least 40 hours a week maintaining factory testing equipment and am constantly using the tool. I wear Carhartt work shirts and keep a screwdriver in one of my front shirt pockets, which is protected by a pocket protector. The pocket clip's tenacity hasn't deteriorated. I don't think so, at least not from what I've seen. It will not come off my shirt unless I pull it off, which is a significant advantage. I use the tool a lot, especially the flat head side, and neither side has chipped or warped. If I need to pry something lightly, I'll usually use the flat head side rather than going out and getting the proper tool. The screwdriver, despite this, remains as straight as an arrow. I can't say enough good things about this little guy. br>On July 31st, 2017, I placed my initial order. It cost seven dollars. The cost is $6 at the moment. I'm going to order another one as a backup, and I'll update my review if the new one is of comparable quality to the one I purchased last year. I'll also try to remember to take a photo of the old one at work and include it in my review.
At work, I use this little guy on a daily basis. For my shirt pocket, it is small and compact. It's great for anything you can think of, and I'm definitely going to get another when this one wears out.
- Updated on 08/14/2017br>br>It's still going strong after more than a year! I work as a maintenance engineer, and I use this tool five days a week. Excellent product of excellent quality!.
I used to have one but misplaced it, so I bought this and am very pleased with it. I had no idea how much I relied on this little gadget!.
These tiny creatures are extremely difficult to come by. Now is the time to buy one before it's too late!.
I've used it for a variety of tasks, including light/small prybars, small items screwdrivers, and scribe tools, and the only drawback I can think of is that after four months, I'm afraid I'll bend it too far and break it. Still, it's a good buy.
Update: Initially, I was very pleased, but after almost no use, the plastic near the pocket clip developed a small crack. Then it sat on the shelf for a few months, and when I went back to look at it, the crack had spread to multiple locations in the handle. br> I can only assume that the plastic used was of poor quality because this happened. Not worth the money for an item that isn't reliable. I'll see what I can do about making a new handle out of polymer clay.
When working on cars, trucks, computers, or just about anything else, this tool comes in handy!.
When working from a ladder, it's convenient to have both screw driver bits.
