It is capable of holding the Makita. I'm not familiar with the Irwin.

This set was purchased to keep my impact drill bits organized. I cut it down because it was too long and the drill bits wouldn't fit, and it worked perfectly after that. br>Buy the short holder if you need to store impact drill bits.

I responded by returning it. The way double ended bits fit in an impact driver or a 1/4" bit screwdriver bothers me. br>Aside from that, Bosch quality is consistently excellent.

In the impact driver, it gets stuck

Although it appears to be a good idea, it has not proven to be effective in practice. An impact driver from Dewalt was used. When not in use, it easily ejects from the driver socket. If you put it in and then use it, you'll need a pair of pliers to get it out. Returning it would be too costly. Maybe it'll loosen up and eject with time.
