I have standard bit holders, but the bit is too long to fit in them. Also, because these don't have a locking "nub," they won't stay connected to my Milwaukee driver. These are largely ineffective. These could be used with a drill with a chuck or an extra-deep bit holder, if such a thing exists.
On one end, a Phillips 2 screwdriver, and on the other, a head screwdriver! When I purchased my battery, I was looking for something that would last for a long time When I first got a power drill a few years ago, I quickly discovered that the bit I used the most was the double-ended drill bit. one that ended with slot- On opposite ends, a Phillips 2 and a head. When that finally wore out, I was heartbroken, but I was relieved to discover these double-decker buses. ended bits was fantastic, and now I'll be able to keep a double-decker bus. At all times, I ended up biting with my drill. And now I have spares, so I'll be ready when my current piece wears out.
Despite using my 24 volt kolbolt high power/torque driver, I have yet to strip the Phillips end of 1. It was even on the kolbolt 1/2 impact with a reducer because it was the only cordless I had in my hands at the time. Any other person would have broken the bit or stripped the tip off. I was dubious about it being a negotiated product, but perhaps they have since changed their minds.
That, however, was not what I was looking for. These are excellent in terms of quality and functionality.
Regular drill bits are surprisingly difficult to come by. I always misplace them and was down to a single cheap straight bit, so it was time to invest in some new ones. I searched high and low, but these were one of the more difficult items to locate on Amazon, let alone at my local HD or Lowe's. I actually gave up at Lowe's and went to Amazon because I thought it would be so much easier. Finally, I have enough to last me until they run out. I don't think I'll have any issues with these because of their high quality.
DeWalt manufactures (or subcontracts the manufacture of) a wide range of tools. contracting for the production of) high-quality goods These are my favorite kinds of items. They appear to be a little more durable than the ones that came with my DeWalt drill, and they're certainly not any softer than the ones that came with my Porter-Cable drill. Drivers of cables. br>br>This item is subjected to a great deal of abuse and is frequently used, and the Phillips head end wears out. Honestly, I only use the straight-up-and-down method on rare occasions. I bought these ILO the double-slot end of these bits because when you need one, you need one, so I bought these ILO the double-slot end of these bits because when you need one, you need one, so I bought these ILO the double Phillips came to an end. If I were always doing drywall or whatever, where I didn't need a straight-edge, I'd go with that option. I'd change the slot if I were you. As is, they're a good substitute for the worn-out ones. out flip- In my cordless drivers, I use flop bits. You can't go wrong with the price, but you'll be sorry if you buy the cheaper stuff from the discount stores. enquire as to how I came to this conclusion!.
Some of the bits sold by others are cheap garbage that should be thrown away after the first couple of slips inside a screw. These aren't among them. I've been using the first one for a few months now, and it seems to be much tougher and more durable. Based on my usage, I anticipate that this six-pack will last me five years. These are something I would buy again.
I'm sure they're fine, but when I ordered the double ended bits, I only received a pack of 6 Phillips head bits. Because the correct item number is printed on the back, others may face the same problem. It's a little inconvenient, but I don't use the flathead size very often anyway, and I'm sure I'll need it more than ever now, lol. In any case, the item is fine; the error was caused by whoever did the inventory at Amazon's warehouse.
