All my installations require quality #2 square tip bits since I'm in the custom closet business. Each time I install cabinets, I drive 1000 screws and have tried almost every brand available. Since I did not want to extend my warranty, I opted for basic Dewalt bits, which seem to last longer than most others. The most of the dewalt bits that I have used in the past came from the mixed bit boxes that were offered As far as durability is concerned, these bits do It took me about ten minutes to buy it It's just been recently that I've been able to use the bit package. There is no comparison to the bits I have used in the past. In about 3 or 4 screws, the screws could no longer be used. There was one case where the tip broke off completely because they rounded over. Dewalt bits I have used in the past would be good for 100s of screws with moderate This is a very interesting product and I wonder if it is the real deal or just a cleverly packaged knock-off.
The pieces I needed for my trailer are part of a trim metal panel that I replaced. While they work, the metal from which they are made is too soft, and they wear out after only a few screws before their tips start to round. It was not a smooth installation because the screws already have holes for them, so the bolts didn't have to endure that much torque.
Despite what people might think, I couldn't find the order at my local store and had to order online. Delivery was fast and the items were as described. I have only used one bit so far, but the shipping was fast.
I was pleasantly surprised at how cheap they were and how quickly they arrived at my house. As expected, everything goes according to plan. Unfortunately, we somehow manage to lose every bit of one type at the same time, so maybe when we have 10 we'll have a better.
--In summary this case, the driver is decent quality at a reasonable price.
As pictured, the DeWalt bag with punched hole did not arrive in the way it was pictured, so if you plan on reselling these, look for There is the DeWalt logo firmly stamped on them. They seem to be the genuine article as far as I can tell. IF they turn out to be junk mail, I will let you know.
Since I am not a professional, I cannot offer any advice. If I'm trying to remove and replace screws, I may have to replace bits more.
You do want to keep a few on hand, especially when working outside.
