Questions & Answers

How do I use it with a circular saw with left blade?

With either variety of saw, it will work the same. I would say that this is a mediocre, if not downright dangerous, experience. In order to change the mounting direction, there is a feature. Neither clamp arrangement is sufficient, so the saw is likely to wiggle and drift in either case. Even if you get an accurate cut, you'll still have problems. As a result of the saw, the person will be bound and kicked.

The Bora track runs straight across your circular saw blade, so why do you need this? Wouldn't a circular saw work better if you simply moved it along its edge?

It's a problem that Bora's track doesn't square up with the edge of the That is also not the case with

Do you think this will work with Ryobi's left-handed saws?

My saw is left handed so I am not sure if it will work. is, however, very adjustable, so there is a good chance that it will meet your needs. Consult the manufacturer if you have any questions.

The NGX and the WTX consist of two systems, am I right? What is the difference between the two? Does the NxX have a lower price than the NX? I appreciate it. ?

I'm here! The NGX Clamp Edge System is a newer technology. The main difference between our WTX track and the NGX track is its ability to clamp from one side of the track, along with its ability to work with the new saw plate and other products. by phone Your help is greatly appreciated!

On NGX track, it makes excellent cuts, however it does not hold its position on the saw reliably
3/5

The purpose of this is to make my house clean & beautiful The shelves have been cut straight on melamine. These were the first few cuts and they turned out really well! My six shelves were crooked after I cut them yesterday in the sun, and I realized that they were at least 3 inches too high. In the end, it turned out that when the clamps and traction strips on the plate get warm, it is impossible to use them. In addition, I made sure that the three clamps were tight, and Despite the saw's wandering, it continues to roam. removed all three clamps from my saw and modified the base plate of my saw so that it has four 10-inch mounting holes instead There are 32 machine screw holes on the Bora plate that align with the holes drilled through the There is a mixed review for this one, folks. Although this plate holds the saw securely on the NGX track, I found that the clamps and traction strips might not work when it gets too hot (hot, It has taken a lot of time to modify my saw and this Bora plate for a reliable saw position, and now I have to rework a stack of shelves that are too wide for our pantry.

The advertised product is not what you expect
3/5

The saw was not securely held or accurately aligned. It has been moved into A Dewalt 7 1/4" saw may not be a good fit for every saw. Constructed in a weak manner. There is no anti-rotation for the retention nuts, they just spin. Had no idea that Chinese plastic construction would not be a robust design or useful product. Our tests don't tell us if it works, nor can we tell you for sure. It was an awful cut because the saw continued to move. In addition, the NGX 90° add-on to the track guide is a complete failure. A log cabin may have square posts if it isn't used in a square shape. I think so. A 16-inch deviation per foot is possible. I am going to admit that Kreg's master cutting kit is more reliable and cheaper than the Chinese cheap plastic tool (>1/4" over 48" wide sheet of material). Anyone who wants accuracy should stay away from Bora. Alternatively, you can speed up. You could also say it is long lasting.

Applied to all situations, caveat emptor applies
3/5

In my experience, I can only speak to the overall construction and how it fits on and is compatible with the circular saws I have. This product has Strong construction
+ Sturdy, satisfyingly secure clamps
+ It is reversible for southpaw saws
*The Not So Good- These clamps are not reversible. The accessories are designed to work with only a small number of saws
I can't use clamps because they are too bulky. In the old design (5544006), one side clamp was used on the first clamp, and two clamps were used on the second clamp. The Makita 5007MGA, an older version of the Skilsaw-- It interferes with the depth/miter locking levers on the Makita, and only the front and side-front ones can find purchase, and with the limited space and the "waffle" design of the base, it is nearly impossible to use. It is impossible to accomplish. There is a good chance the Makita 5007FA with its flat steel base and smaller levers will be more suitable. I. - A Skilsaw cannot attach the sides clamps anywhere because the clamps do not extend beyond the arms. In order to properly use this saw, a) the saw base needs to be completely flat and rectangular steel and b) the base and motor housing need to be at least one inch apart. **
I exchanged this for the older, but half the price, Bora 544106 in hopes it will fit within my Makita 2007MGA (A. Its Precious ones).

A complete failure of the clamping mechanism! isn't safe, I was fiddling with reattaching the saw to the plate after the saw came out of the plastic clamps after it came out of the clamp while in use when I realized that the power was still on
3/5

There was a possibility that something horrible could happen right there on my hands! Returning this piece of #@%* plastic because it is poor quality and too expensive! Despite the fact that the track works well, spending money on this kind of hack is unnecessary The present moment.

This technique secures the track and reduces the cutting depth
3/5

There is a relatively new lefthanded Bosch in my possession. With this unit, the clamp can be positioned to work on both left and right sides. There are two major issues There is a lot of binding on this track, not everywhere, but at a high enough level that it makes it difficult. As a result, there is some problem with reproducibility A 2"x6" board could not be cut through. It came up about 1/8" short. Pretty poor design on the part of the manufacturer to allow that It's not great how the guide system works.

Both of my saws do not work with this
3/5

In order to trim the bottoms of doors, I purchased this along with an edge clamp. I haven't been able to cut with either 714 and 2630 Regardless of where I move the clamps that hold the baseplate to the saw plate, the 412") can be lowered low enough to cut through the 112". Specifically, on the 714" saw, the motor extends outside the base plate, and the saw plate is too thick to enable the blade to drop all the way. Under the saw plate on the 612" saw, the blade cannot drop far enough below the baseplate because the plate is simply too thick. That's after abandoning the rearmost clamp which will no longer fit anywhere when the saw is It's a good thing, though, that I can simply use an edge clamp to cut the doors.

The tool or system is great
4/5

The problem is. Even though this tool ended up being great, there were two things I noticed. A small but! As I mentioned, I had to clean up the edges and surfaces that mate. The metal track has this part slid inside. As well as the uneven edges and sticky glue that prevent sliding, the "saw plate" and the metal track(s) also appeared unfinished. To a certain extent- In order to prevent these from being returned as defective, they had to be burred. Aside from nearly no corrosion, the tracks were also made of metal. The stickers are removable through multiple sliding mechanisms The locations of the contact points are listed below. The glue had to be removed using laquer thinner. After all parts and areas were smoothed, sanded and/or filed, it was a true joy to work with the Bora. This system is DEFINITELY one I would recommend to everyone. There are some things up in the air for you - A set of chairs in front of the set Make sure work is done before it is used.

There is no universal base at all
3/5

I have a Makita circular saw and it doesn't work. A retaining ring interferes with depth and angle adjustments as a result of securing the saw to the plate.
