You can reverse them. Yes, you can. There is not much difference between the I only see a difference in the ends of the planer compared to what came on it.
There were pictures of blades and for some reason there was a male notch on the end of the blade, but what was sent to me had a female notch on it. There is one 128281-C and two 128281-D A 13" woman. That makes no sense to me. I can still fit them in

Since installing these blades around 5 weeks ago, I am using them exclusively, after using rigid brand blades for months of heavy use. For a couple of passes of softer wood, they were able to fit and run well. All of my pieces had lines because of the speed at which I nicked on wood alone. The blades tend to perform fine when used on older blades, but at 3 weeks of use in a hobby shop, they start to appear shabby. Today, as I ran a piece of maple though it, taking a very light pass, I noticed that the nicking appeared to be worse than ever. When I tried making one more pass, two of the blades snapped in half and flew out of the back of the machine. I had changed many a planer blade before but never had this problem. The steel used in these blades is very low grade, so that's the only explanation that I can think of. You are better off spending a little more on higher quality products. In order to get 27 dollars off, one must pay for blades that last less than two months and can't even rotate them.
The backups will be kept on a shelf as a backup. My initial concern was that "don't fit" or "wrong blade" comments might indicate that they are counterfeit. It IS true that there is an additional 2mm of metal on either end, but it has no effect on how the blades fit the machine. As I was flipping my OEM blades to the fresh edge, I verified they fit without any modification. As for grinding them off, if you're bothered by them, you can do so easily. Because they were made in Taiwan, I do not expect titanium durability levels. I can't speak for their performance just yet, but I assume they won't be as durable. For the sake of offsetting clueless remarks, I'm going to give 5/5.
The update is As soon as I got more blades, they were correct. I am aggravated by the inconvenience and disappointed in ZERO response from the I updated the review to a 3 because there is nothing wrong with the blades, just the seller. The blades I have been using are the same ones I have purchased four times in the past. During the first three rounds, there were no problems. I received the wrong item because someone did not pay attention to labels this time. Since I am a woodworker, I need these blades to get my job done. Keep an eye on things! I'll reevaluate my review after seeing how well customer service is [and how accurate it is].
My Ridgid R4331 is very happy with these blades. An indentation rather than a locating hole is used in the construction of these devices. You can shift them if you hit a stone or nail and cause the knife to chip. Before you use your new blades, always inspect the lumber! It took them eight hours to plane through an entire set.
My Ridgid R4331 has been fitted with these. It was stated by another reviewer that the end tabs of the knives were needed to be filed down so they fit, but I found that this was not required As a result of the mixed reviews, I was sceptical, but I needed knives quickly to finish the Twelve pieces of American cherry 1 inch X 4 inch 1X4s went through the planer, taking 1/64 inch (possibly 18 turns of As a result of the third cycle of sending the boards, they were just as dull as butter knives, with a few nicks in The other knife set I used for the task is now broken, so I need to track down another set The pine or cedar might work for a few days if you are sending them through. However, if you are going to use them on hardwood, expect them to last about 45 minutes.
I am curious as to why these blades receive such disparate reviews- My experience indicates they should be avoided. Some people think they're great, others believe the opposite. for no more than half an hour and I was very careful and light-handed when my machine started to get noisy and slow. I had a problem with my Rigid R4331 while using them. As I removed one to see what was up, I found that it had become extremely dull after only half an hour of light use. As a conclusion My pipes were made of extremely poor quality steel, and they were also My next step is to go back to rigid blades.
It was easy to notice that this blade was dull after the first use! After my planer started to sound like a 747 flying over me, I knew it was time to take action. I highly discourage the purchase of these boards, for sure a waste of money, DO NOT BUY THEM.
". Whenever we use our planer, a spare set is always on hand. The installation process is fast. This is a great deal.
