No burning on the sides of the cut (but occasionally at the bottom if I let the router sit for a second) and super smooth cuts. This is my second SpeTools spiral cutter, though I usually use Whiteside bits, and I'm running it on a Triton TRA001 at 3 or 4 speeds.
Grooves were added to a furniture project, and the result was a nice flat, accurate finish on all sides of the groove.
I ordered these at my husband's request because they were half the price and twice the quality of what he could get locally. He will not hesitate to place additional orders.
However, for a large CNC machine, this is excellent.
In my CNC machine, this cutter performs admirably. It's what I use to make plywood grooves.
It was a great bit for cutting deep mortises because it was so sharp.
