You should be able to use it on epoxy with no problems.
It smooths out the surface, but the sill needs to be sanded. The edge marks left by the bit can be removed using a drum sander or a 5 1/2 inch orbital sander with 120 grit paper. Of course, 220 grit sandpaper is still required.
Maria, I had them sharpened at a special place in Cali, Colombia, and they did a fantastic job. I'm afraid I'm not capable of doing it on my own. Please let us know if you discover anything. br>Thank you, Luisbr>
The Mega Dado, to be precise. In a 2, the Planer Router Bit should be fine. Any router with a 1/2" shank and variable speed can be used with a 25 HP motor.

The first test was pine with a dewalt router, which went through like butter; the second test was red oak, which went through as easily as the pine; if you don't have dust collection, wear a mask because the blades seem to powder the wood rather than make shavings; and as far as longevity, I haven't used it that much yet.
I used it to plane a 6ft by 4ft slab of spalted maple down to 2 inches thick from around 3 1/2 inches thick. After a quick sanding, I'm ready to turn it into a coffee table; it turned out beautifully. The router bit sliced through the slab with ease, and while I'm sure it dulled a little, it doesn't appear to need sharpening. It performed better than I had anticipated.
It performs admirably. It's what I use to plan down pieces of wood that are too big for my plunge router's planer. Even the slight edge is fairly smooth. It's best if you go with the grain rather than against it. As if it were a path image. It's very easy to sand. Vacuuming is in order. Aside from that, it's a shambles.
I bought this bit to plan down large live edge slabs because it leaves a very smooth surface with no gouging or blowouts. On a custom sled, I use it in a Titan Router.
This router bit is clearly a beast!! I haven't even used it yet!! If it's performance isn't up to par, I'll post an update, but I seriously doubt it!.
Does an excellent job of flattening large items. Keeps a good edge. If you need to remove a large amount of skin at once, it can cut through deeply, but it also works well with a small amount of skin.
Used to level a table top made of end grain blocks, this beast is a beast. Removes material as if cutting butter with a hot knife. It left a good finish with only minor sanding required.
Going over the material in a very efficient manner.
